My Kyogre Needs Help!

Right, here we go.
On Emerald my Kyogre from Sapphire knows a HM move- meaning when Pearl comes out and I beat the league Kyogre won't be able to get to pal park.
So here is my question- what move should I replace waterfall with?
My precious is level 100.
It currently knows water spout, ice beam and sheer cold.
I would like to replace waterfall with another water move.
Any suggestions?;382;

Sheer Cold isn't very good.
Neither is Water Spout.
They are both unreliable. Try having:

Kyogre
Calm Mind
Thunder
Ice Beam

And then when its on D/P teach it Surf :)

Yes, I agree Sheer Cold and Water Spout are not reliable.
I would also suggest the moveset azuvipsel suggested.
If you don't want to change both of them, I would suggest Thunder to replace Waterfall.

Thanks, I will most certainly replace waterfall with thunder, but I don't like that moveset because it has calm mind in it and that doesn't deal damage.

calm mind raises your sp.atk and sp.def, you'll be able to hit harder and last longer against special attacks too.

umm id think you can replace an hm if u cant go to lilycove find the move deleter get him to delete the move get him to pearl and teach ur kyoger surf

First time in my whole life... a person doesn't want to keep Calm Mind on Kyogre. Oh well I should just think " Different people, different views."

lol, thanks, I really do only use attacks that do damage, I've always done that, but I think surf is the best idea so far, and which move should I replace with thunder, sheer cold or water spout?

Azuvipsel's set is the standard Kyogre set that everybody uses. Calm Mind boosts SAtt and SDef and makes the other three attacks hit much harder than before. Don't you like to make your Pokémon stronger?

Like most other people, I would suggest Calm Mind, but if you really don't want it, I would put Thunder over Sheer Cold. Kyogre's legendary stats mean that it can KO a Pokémon quite reliably without having to rely on a 30% accuracy deathmove. With Water Spout, you can deal some insane damage if you're faster than your opponent.

just delete the HM move in Emerald, transfer it after that, and relearn it in Pearl...

its just that simple
