Raichu - Electric
Ability: Static
Item: Magnet
Moves:
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Thunderbolt
-Thunder Wave

Ouch, you really killed this one. never put 2 attacks of the same type on one poke. Three is overkill.

Marowak - Ground
Ability: Lightningrod
Item: Thick Club
Moves:
-Bonemerang
-Rock Slide
-Double Edge
-Swords Dance

Houndoom - Dark/Fire
Ability:Flash Fire
Item:Charcoal

Politoed - Water
Ability: Water Absorb
Item:Mystic Water
Moves:
-Ice Beam
-Focus Punch/Hypnosis/Counter
-Substitute/Hypnosis/Counter
-Surf

This is my Pokemon Team.
Try as a rule not to put more than one attacking move of the same type on a pokemon. The only exception being Quick Attack/Extreemespeed and Return, since QA and ES akways go first. Also, two turn attack moves like Fly, Dig, Hyper Beam, Blast Burn/Frenzy Plant/Hydro Cannon are not worth it, so don't use them at all.

GrassForStarter

Cascade Trainer
Raichu - Electric
Ability: Static
Item: Magnet
Moves:
-Shock Wave
-Strength - Submission/Seismic Toss over this
-Thunderbolt
-Thunder - Thunder Wave over this

Three attacks of the same type? That's not good to have. Keep Shock Wave since it hits Double Teamers and Minimizers. Submission and Seismic Toos inflict damage on Ground/Rock/Steel Types. Thunderbolt is a great electric attack, overall better than Thunder. Thunder Wave is a must have on a Raichu, it's tactical advantages are just too neccesary.

Marowak - Ground
Ability: Lightningrod
Item: Thick Club
Moves:
-Bonemerang - Look below
-Bone Rush - Look below
-Dug - Look below
-Aerial Ace

Choose Toxic over Bone Rush if you choose to keep Dig. Change Bonemerang to Earthquake. If you want to keep Bonemerang, ditch Bone Rush for Focus Energy. Aerial Ace is a very good choice of attack as it's good against Grass types. Try use Swords Dance on it too!

Houndoom - Dark/Fire
Ability:Flash Fire
Item:Charcoal
Moves:
-Crunch
-Solarbeam
-Flamethrower
-Overheat - Ditch this for Sunny Day!

The loss of Special Attack can be critical many times when you need it the most! Ditch overheat for Sunny Day to boost the strength of your Flamethrower. With Sunny Day, you don't need to recharge to use Solar Beam either, so all you'll get is an advantage!

Fearow - Normal/Flying
Ability: Keen Eye
Item:Sharp Beak
Moves:
-Drill Peck
-Fly - Return over this
-Steel Wing
-Mirror Move

Alakazam - Psychic
Ability:Synchronize
Item:Twistedspoon
Moves:
-Psychic
-Psybeam - Ditch this for Calm Mind!
-Thief
-Shadow Ball - Ditch this for Future Sight!

As Alakazam's attack is low, ditch Shadow Ball for Future sight which inflicts a good amount of damage to the foe regardless resistance or weakness to Psychic-type attacks!

Politoed - Water
Ability: Damp
Item:Mystic Water
Moves:
-Ice Beam
-Brick Break
-Hydro Pump - Psychic over this
-Surf

This is my Pokemon Team.
Good team, read my opinions that are written in Italic and Bold.

Electrode is rather weak. Ok, he's super weak. He's the fastest thing after Ninjask, but can't do anything with that speed. Sadly, this would be the best set you can get.
Electrode
- Thunderbolt
- HP Ice/Grass/Double Team
- Thunder Wave
- Explosion

As I said before, I never suggest the use of Double Team unless there is nothing else instead. And the is NOTHING else here. Try getting the HP.

As for Dodrio, -Mad Mod-'s set, only with Early Bird.

This has always been my best choice to use:

Sneasel
Item: Nevermeltice/Blackglasses/Metal Coat/Silk Scarf
Moves:
Faint Attack
Ice Beam
Metal Claw
Slash

You could use that. It has never let me down. Lucky that you're playing Leaf Green, because you can't find Sneasel in Fire Red. Here's exactly how it's good:

Faint Attack never misses, therefore making it good to use if your accuracy is low. If your item is Blackglasses, this move will also be powered up. Ice Beam has higher accuracy, PP, and chance of freezing than Blizzard. If your item is Nevermeltice, this move will also be powered up. Metal Claw covers Rock Types used against Sneasel. If your item is Metal Coat, this will move will also be powered up. And finally, Slash's high Critical Hit Ratio makes it a good move. If your item is Silk Scarf, this move will also be powered up.

If you can't get Earthquake, then use Boomerang.
If you can't get Rock Slide, then use Ancient Power.
Double Edge and Swords Dance are a must.

let me explain to u how bad this is:
sneasel base atk-95
sneasel base sp. atk-35

brick break is better than metal claw
Then replace Metal Claw with Brick Break, and replace Matal Coat with Black Belt.
