Blow into the catridge.

It might take a try or two. But it does work...for a lot of people.

Yea my Ruby won't even work with any of my SPs or my DS Lite. You have take a moist towel and stuff it right into the cartidge to make it work. Thank god it isn't my top game anymore.

This sort of thing happens when the game or game system gets old...My f and a half year old gameboy stopped working in a similar way plus the opening screen of my games when all weird looking. But, I have a DS now. =D

Sometimes that happens when it isn't pushed in properly pushed in, or at a slight angle. Shift it around or take in out then put it back in, that might be the cause. Also blow in it if it does not work.

That happened to ALL my and my brother's games at the SAME time. It was scary. ._.

As everyone has said, blow the cartridge and the cartridge slot on your GBA to get rid of any dust.

Also, make sure the cartridge is in straight. If it's not in straight, then the Gameboy can't load the game. It sounds stupid to even check that kind of thing, but if I had a pound for the amount of times I've stuck a cartridge in and thought it was straight only to find it's at an angle I'd have...well, mabye £10. :D

But you get the idea. Just check that everything is as it's supposed to be, blow the GB and the cartridge contacts for dust/dirt and try again.

When you have these probs, never re-ajust the position of the game while playing. Trust me -,-,
