Black Murder Heavangelon
Ow! Ow! Harder! Ow!
Ok, I'm rather nervous about posting this, but I figured I'd want to show you guys anyway.
Erhem! So! A while ago, I was thinking about how Isshu was based in New York, America, and how it's pokemon weren't exactly what you call 'native'. Then I thought about how Mexico and its animals would look like as a region in pokemon. The idea fascinated me so, as I'm from Mexico, and I was drawn to the very idea of a fake Mexican pokedex, and it started with the starters.
So, here I am, sharing what I've done with the fake pokedex so far. I've drawn 49 fakemon and counting. So here they are.
The Starters.
Regional rat, bird, and bug.
'Common' Pokemon, as well as Mexican region Lotad Line.
Dancing Grass/Fire/Water trio.
More 'Free Range' pokemon, as well as Mexican Murkrow line.
'Warrior' pokemon, including the Mexican Sneasel line as well.
More Fake Mexican pokemon. I really like the snowball one.
Much more Fakes. The general consensus for this one is that epic shark is epic.
A lot more fakes. Finally got to the one Ghost type I was looking forward to in this dex.
Random mishsmash of Mexican fakemon. First time drawing Maractus too.
(Link coming soon...)
I'll be doing more pokemon based on Mexico and it's animals. I'm also going to be doing redesigns of old pokemon as regional differences.
I know the art isn't perfect, but I'm not posting the pictures here for that. I'm posting it here for the idea and what I've drawn. Tell me what you like and if there's anything different I should do.
And I know Skrattle looks odd. I forgot the neck. :I
I hope I'm not breaking any rules, though. :S
UPDATE: Ok, so I have permission to double post on this thread in order to update this post further. Stand by for edit...
