My Mono Ghost Team!

Sassafras

rock the Casbah!
So I thought to my self, im finding netbattle boring(I lost so much :p). How can i spice it up? Eureka! A mono-type team! But what type> Ghost of course, there are so few, its te biggest challenge.
So here it is:

;356;
Dusclops (F)@ Chesto Berry
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
- Ice Beam
- Rest

;200;
Misdreavus (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 160 HP / 176 Def / 174 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Mean Look
- Pain Split
- Perish Song
- Protect

;094;
Gengar (F) @ Peyta Berry
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Destiny Bond
- Hidden Power [Dark]
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt

;094;
Gengar (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk /
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Dream Eater
- Hypnosis
- Mean Look
- Nightmare

;302;
Sableye (F) @ Black Belt
Trait: Keen Eye
EVs: 230 HP / 136 Def / 144 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Confuse Ray
- Dynamicpunch
- Recover
- Toxic

;354;
Banette (F) @ Salac Berry
Trait: Insomnia
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Destiny Bond
- Endure
- Hidden Power [Dark]
- Psychic

So whaddya think? Banette wasnt origanly ment to be another Spc.Seeper, it just sorta happened. sableye w/ Dynamic cos Seismic is to weak, and he cant focus. For taking care of Bliss, Lax and Steel pokemon that arnt Metagross.

I like this Dusclops set the best:

Dusclops (Impish Nature) @Leftovers
EVs: 252 Hp, 44 Attack, 100 Defense, 114 Sp.Def (SOMETHING like that. :X)
-Shadow Ball
-Pain Split
-Seismic Toss
-Will-O-Wisp

Just because Dusclops isn't that offensive. Imo, you don't need EQ/Fire Punch/Ice Beam on the same set.

For Gengar, Giga Drain > Psychic if you're worried about a way to damage Swampert. Or Ice Punch/Fire Punch works well too.

Sableye isn't going to be hitting that hard. :/ Night Shade/Seismic Toss > Dynamic Punch.

Dusclops isn't meant to be offensive.

You have 2 Gengar. Is that intentional? Use this set for it:

Gengar (M) @ Leftovers ** Jennagar
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 180 Spd / 76 SAtk
Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Focus Punch
- Ice Punch
- Sludge Bomb
- Thunder

Your EVs are very mediocre for every Pokemon.

at least nick it jennagar xd

And that is the worst sableye I have ever seen ._.

needs more team of CB Gar w/ Explosion.

aipomkong

prophecy fulfilled
i have a patent on the 2v2 CB gar explosion team that can even beat ghosts

dusclops - will-o-wisp/pain split/shadow ball/focus punch

sableye - knock off/recover/toxic/seismic toss

banette - shadow ball/hp fighting/thunder wave/knock off

what you had on those three was pretty awful

Get an Haunter instead of one Gengar.

Breaking species clause ruins the point of mono teams.

Meh.

I'm off making a mono-gengar team.

I remember battling you earlier today...

I'd say this:

Dusclops (F)@ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 12 HP/252 DEF/152 SP.ATK/92 SP.DEF
Calm Nature
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam
- Pain Split
- Will-o-Wisp

Not a popular set, but still my favourite. This gives it some form of attack while being able to wall both physical and special attacks. Most people will go for a different set, which I'm sure will pop up in the thread as another replacement.

Misdreavus (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 160 HP / 176 Def / 174 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Mean Look
- Pain Split
- Perish Song
- Protect

Never known anything about Misdreavus, so I won't rate it.

Gengar (F) @ Peyta Berry
Trait: Levitate
Not sure about EVs or Nature
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Ice Punch/Giga Drain
- Thunderbolt

I think this is the standard, give or take a few moves. Subpunching gets rid of Blissey and the other two serve as a Bolt-Beam. Giga Drain gets rid of Swampert.

Gengar (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk /
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Dream Eater
- Hypnosis
- Mean Look
- Nightmare

This sort of set is normally really bad, but you destroyed me with it, so what do I know? If you HAVE to use another Gengar, go with a set similar to that, but maybe include things like Perish Song, Destiny Bond or Will-o-Wisp on it.

Sableye (F) @ Black Belt
Trait: Keen Eye
EVs: 230 HP / 136 Def / 144 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Confuse Ray
- Dynamicpunch
- Recover
- Toxic

I have no idea what this guy can do, but just get rid of Dynamicpunch and Black Belt.

Banette (F) @ Salac Berry
Trait: Insomnia
Again, not sure about EVs or Natures
- Destiny Bond/Snatch/Knock Off
- Will-o-Wisp/Thunder Wave
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Shadow Ball

The standard goes a bit like that.

As you can see, guys, it's my first attempt at RMT and I'm doing this through experience of getting beaten by these sets. X(
