Having Shadow ball and Dark pulse is like having 2 of the same moves.Calm mind boosts both it's good Special attack and It's poor special defence,which may save you from dying and activate the Petaya berry if equipped.Aura Sphere is better than Focus Blast any day because it is good enough to deal major damage with STAB and a high special attack plus it has more PP and it NEVER MISSES.Inner focus is great but flinching is kind of rare in a battle,making it almost useless,whereas Streadfast boosts your good speed to outrun a few pokemon that would normally outrun it.

I'd rather have Pursuit on Tyranitar and Aerial Ace for Breloom(not sure if it can switch into it). But I would really much rather have Pursuit

Thanks destroyah for the moveset. I sorta like the Choice Band moveset, but i'd rather not. I may decide on it later though to have it. I also forgot about Calm Mind even existed! I'll be sure to edit it. But any suggestions about who to change to take care of my Infernape weakness? Also how do i teach Torterra Wood Hammer?

i hate the choice band stategy, it forces u to switch when ur attack is turning out to be useless and people who switch out are cowards and desperate to me

Anyway, I heard someone say u learn those moves by the move teacher (like the one in R,S,E with the Heart Scales) but im still not sure about that if not then go w/ seed bomb i guess

Focus Punching Gengar likes hasty, Lonely if you want a bit more omph in your punches.

CBtar likes Focus Punch somewhere in its moveset.

I had a DD Tyranitar, so it was fast and could kill things. Which 1 is better, Choice Tar or normal? Do you think I should change him to Garcomp to kill Infernape? How come Focus Punch on Choice Tar? Ya, I feel like a HUGE noob now. Any other ways for Torterra? And what about my Infernape weakness?

I forgot to add that Roost. Either way, Skarm's abilities arent that good in Competitive Play, unfortunately.

Who is going to use a 30 accuracy 1-Hit KO move, and who uses a Sand Attack on Skarmory? Yes, I know he is 1 of the best Physical Wall and spiker,
and my Skarmory on my Emerald is freakin good with the common 3rd Gen movesets. Thats why hes on my team. Im not trying to start an argument here or something.

Sturdy stops 1 hit KOmoves, and most of them (or all of them) have 30 accuracy. His other ability prevents his accuracy from lowering. I meant his ABLILTIES are bad, not him. Sorry for any confusion.

Oh, ok. There still is the possibility of Articuno coming in and Mind Reading you and then using Sheer Cold. I agree with you, Skarm's abilities aren't that good.

Any tips to counter that Infernape? Who can I change to make the team better? And should I replace Tyranitar for Garchomp?
