Very detailed and well done- the black and white setting gives a nice effect on the tone, but Torchic's right. I don't know how, it somehow looks more like a ferret. Either way I would've been able to recognize it. The fur runs around smoothly and realistic...ly. Great job!

Nice job! Like the rst though it does kind of look like a ferret but it is sssooo cute I really like it! Nice shading, too! I'm no where near as good as that!

The detail and shading are very good. But I agree with everyone else on the matter that it looks like a ferret. Anyways, keep up the great work!

Okay everyone, let's go over the basics of life:
This is a ferret. Probably domesticated from the European Polecat, it was probably first used as a ratter. Of the family Mustelidae, which includes badgers, weasels, wolverines, skunks and otters.
That thing up in my first post is an Arcanine. Developed in the first Pokemon generation, he was probably going to be a legendary dog, but that was scrapped and Growlithe was introduced to make up for it. Completely fictional of the Pokemon + Game Freak family by Mr. Tajiri or some other guy.
Although I must admit, I'm starting to see the ferretness of Arcanine... Thanks for the comments!

The Arcanine does seem a tad Ferret-ish, whereas Arcanine is more canine. Overall, excellent shading and you drew the fur and nose very well. ^^

I agree with everyone else on the fact that it does look a little like a ferret =/ but i love this drawing! its very detailed ^_^ and the shading is great. also it looks very realistc ^_^ Draw more!!! ^^

And the drawing is nice, don't get me wrong, but it looks more like a rodent and not a dog. Arcanine is a dog, not suppose to look rodent-like. The reason your drawing of Arcanine looks like a rodent is because it has too short of a nose, and the nose is too thin. Elongate and thicken the nose a bit and it should look just fine.

^ I may actually color the above, fixing all weird anatomy problems in the process. In fact, it is almost probable, which if you know your math, is more possible than possible. Based off of Meredith Ann Pierce's Firebringer Trilogy (even if I've only gotten through Book 1).

The noes on the Arcanine is really pointy (Ferret) and the nose of the Firebringer horse looks kind of big compared to the body but I like them both. The Firebringer one would looks great colored. I like the little rat guy. =3

Hmm, very very nice work! Would you say your work seems quite mysterious in some way? Cos I certainly think so and that's a great presence I like in art. The Arcanine needs a bigger mane I believe to make it look more canine-like and more like an Arcanine! But it's a good drawing nevertheless.
