My random UU team

Poke-friend

Wayward Traveler
I'm going to start posting random UU and OU teams. Also expect some more weather-based ones. Not all of my pokemon have roles on this team. I just picked one Grass-, Water-, Fire-, and Electric-type pokemon from the UU list. I also added Drifblim, because, well, I don't know. I just figured a Ghost-type pokemon might come in handy. Same goes for Steelix an Probopass. Steel-types are resistant to poison. This team is greatly subject to change. Anyway, here's my team. Pardon the lameness.

Raichu @ Life Orb/Wise Glasses
Modest/Timid Nature
Ability: Static
6 HP/252 sp.atk/252 spd
-Nasty Plot
-Thunderbolt
-Grass Knot
-Focus Blast

or

Raichu @ Life Orb/Leftovers
Jolly/Hasty Nature
Ability: Static
88 atk/200 sp.atk/122 spd
-Thunderbolt
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Grass Knot

Raichu could be my special sweeper or my mixed sweeper. As I have mentioned, their roles aren't final and they're not decided yet.

Drifblim @ Leftovers
Modest/Relaxed Nature
Ability: Aftermath
252 HP/88 atk/41 def/129 sp.atk
-Charge Beam
-Focus Energy
-Shadow Ball
-Explosion

I have no idea. My "novelty" set. I'm not sure if it is novelty though. Anyway, I got this from PBR. I'm not sure if it is exactly the same, but this is the basic structure of it. Not sure abouth the EV's. I think I added up wrong.

Lapras @ Leftovers
Modest/Bold Nature
Ability: Water Absorb
252 HP/129 def/129 sp.atk
-Whirlpool
-Perish Song
-Substitute
-Ice Beam/Double Team

I like this Lapras a lot. Got this from PBR as well. The original set has Double Team, but I opted for Ice Beam as a good damage-dealing move.

or

Octillery @ Wise Glasses/Scope Lens
Modest Nature
Ability: Sniper
6 HP/129 def/252 sp.atk/123 spd
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Focus Energy
-Thunder Wave

or

Octillery @ Wise Glasses/Choice Specs
Modest Nature
Ability: Sniper
6 HP/252 def/252 sp.atk
-Surf
-Energy Ball
-Charge Beam
-Flamethrower

I prefer the second one, but I am at a lost with the EV spreads. I am coming up with a lot of options.

Ninetales @ Wise Glasses/Focus Sash?
Modest/Timid Nature
Ability: Flash Fire
6 HP/252 sp.atk/252 spd
-Nasty Plot
-Flamethrower/Fire Blast
-Shadow Ball
-Energy Ball

My definite special sweeper.

Leafeon @ Muscle Band
Adamant/Jolly Nature
Ability: Leaf Guard
6 HP/252 atk/252spd
-Leaf Blade
-X-scissor
-Swords Dance
-Synthesis?

My definite physical sweeper, but I am at another loss for I do not know what to put for the last moveslot.

Steelix @ Leftovers?/Choice Band?/Life Orb?
Adamant/Relaxed/Brave Nature
Ability: Sturdy
6 HP/252 def/252 atk
-Iron Tail/Gyro Ball
-Earthquake
-Crunch/Explosion
-Stone Edge

Not sure about this one either. Could be my physical wall. Opted for relaxed or brave nature so that Gyro Ball would be able to deal more damage. I know that Seelix was not meant to be an all-out attacker, but I do not have much experience with it, so I do not know the right moveset. Not sure about the item either.

or

Probopass @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
Ability: Sturdy
252 HP/129 def/129 sp.atk
-Flash Cannon
-Earth Power
-Thunderbolt
-Stealth Rock

or

Probopass @ Leftovers
Impish Nature
Ability: Sturdy
252 HP/252 def/6 spd
-Stealth Rock
-Toxic
-Protect/Double Team
-Explosion

Haven't a clue. Not even the slightest idea. I'm guessing it could pass off as my mixed wall. The moves don't match the role, to please feel free to suggest something, or an entirely different UU Steel-type.

This is pretty long. I'll just cut it short: This team needs improvement and all your comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

I don't consider 6 random pokemon thrown together because of their type a team... especially when you can't even decide which ones you want.

You cover your bases well but with no strategy I don't really see this going far. If this is in-game I don't know where you'd fit it in anyway.

Make some decisions and then I'll assist you. Consider Dunsparce on your team and teach a pokemon submission.

1. Quite weak to BoltBeam and QuakEdge.

2. I say go mixed with Raichu. You have enough special Pokemon already.

3. Steelix is a wall. Toxic/Stealth Rock > Crunch/Explosion to help some more. It should hold Lefties.

4. A passed Swords Dance on Steelix could hurt, seeing that it has high Def to withstand physical hits and can hit back harder. i.e Baton Pass for Leafeon's last move.

5. If you ever pick Probopass, go special. His crappy base Atk isn't going to do much.

6. That Lapras... could be a good candidate for another physical hitter+annoyer with Dragon Dance/Avalanche/Waterfall/Body Slam.

7. Just give Drifblim Chesto Berry with Unburden trait. Aftermath probably won't work if you're going boom when his HP is dwindling.

I guess, but I couldn't make up a good enough team with using only UU pokemon. Sorry. I tried as best as I could, but even after that, I guess I came up short. If you want to see me make a better team, then wait a little while. I hope I'm not sounding boastful. Just give me some time, and I'll make a better team. I won't use UU pokemon anymore. And Arceus03, I didn't post any physical moves on Probopass, except for Explosion. Just so you know. Aw great, now I'm starting to sound like a jerk...You know what, just forget about it.

If you're going to make a UU team, at least have some main objective; i.e. Azumarril sweep.

Oh. Like this Azumarril?

Azumarril @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
Ability: Huge Power
252 HP/252 atk/6 spd?
-Aqua Jet/Waterfall
-Superpower/Focus Punch
-Subsitute
-Dig/Belly Drum

Not much experience with Azumarril.

changes/suggestions in bold.

Raichu @ Life Orb/Expert Belt
Hasty (Jolly subtracts from Sp.Attack, which you need for Thunderbolt Nature
Ability: Static
88 atk/200 sp.atk/122 spd
-Thunderbolt
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Grass Knot

Raichu could be my special sweeper or my mixed sweeper. As I have mentioned, their roles aren't final and they're not decided yet.

Lapras @ Leftovers
Modest/Bold Nature
Ability: Water Absorb
252 HP/129 def/129 sp.atk
-Whirlpool
-Perish Song
-Substitute
-Ice Beam/Double Team

This set is pretty novelty too.... Consider:
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Sing/Toxic

for more coverage.

Ninetales @ Wise Glasses/Focus Sash?
Modest/Timid Nature
Ability: Flash Fire
6 HP/252 sp.atk/252 spd
-Nasty Plot
-Flamethrower/Fire Blast
-Hypnosis
-Energy Ball

Ninetales can't learn Shadow Ball.

My definite special sweeper.

Leafeon @ Muscle Band
Adamant/Jolly Nature
Ability: Leaf Guard
6 HP/252 atk/252spd
-Leaf Blade
-X-scissor Or Baton Pass
-Swords Dance
-Synthesis? or Grasswhistle

My definite physical sweeper, but I am at another loss for I do not know what to put for the last moveslot. Leafeon is more of a support Pokemon than a sweeper.

Azumarill (Adamant Nature) @Choice Band
-Waterfall/Aqua Jet
-Ice Punch
-Double-Edge/Return/Body Slam
-Superpower/Brick Break/Focus Punch

Oh. Sorry. How about Dark Pulse for Nintales? And I think I've seen that Lapras before. I just can't seem to remember where, or when. I think it is better though. More offense too.
