My Realistic Interpretation of the Pokemon World.

Sick of the unrealistic interpretations of pokemon? I am. The Anime, which I despise, is so unbelievably unrealistic I don't know where to start. The Pokespecial ***** is known for being darker and more realistic, but has the surreal tendency to take the fact it is based of a video game way to literally.

So I started this project. The finished results of this project will form background info my planned massive fan fic.

Life in the Pokemon World
As opposed to the many kingdoms of life in our world, in pokeworld (let us call it gaea) there are a mere five.

Fauna: Most Fauna are microscopic our near microscopic beings such as ants, copepods, tiny jellyfish, etc. Others are colonies such as sponges. The largest of the fauna is the human. There is evidence to suggest fauna are not native to gaea. Most scientist laugh at this, however. The only fauna that can achieve psychic power is the human

Pokemon: Pokemon have layered nuclei. They have multiple levels of DNA to be tapped, thus creating microevolution (I will refer evolution from caterpie to metapod, for example, as micro-. Macro- will be the kind of evolution that takes place over millions of years.). Even pokemon who die before evolving to higher stages pass on the genes of all stages.

Microevolution is not something that happens in instants. It can take hours. The pokemon will become ravenous in many cases, gorging itself to ensure it has the energy to evolve and to make sure it has the appropriate biomass, all though in many cases this cannot be acheived (magickarp to gyrados, for example) but evolution puzzlingly occurs anyway. Scientists are still far from understanding how. Some believe they take in radiant energy from the gods themselves.

During Microevolution, the cells in the Pokemons body create a dome of evoplasmic fluid. The outer membrane of evoplasm is white and as solid as diamond. Pokemon floating in the ocean usually create a globe as opposed to a dome. Ships have sunken after hitting these. Once the pokemon has evolved to the next form, the membrane cracks.

The fluidity that allows pokemon to evolve is a characteristic of their cells, usually dormant, but active in some species (Ditto). This ability is activated by pokeballs, making pokemon the only solid objects capable of entering the digital space pokeball without being destroyed.

Ghost pokemon are an enigma, as they are insubstantial and disintegrate upon death it is impossible to study what they are made of. Religions have varied opinions on them.

Flora: These are plants. The fruits of earth are replaced with berries. Thus, people do not eat corn on the cob, but cornn berry on the cob. This means that many berries that are rare in the game are quite common in gaea.

Fungi: These are more common and resilent on gaea, allowing the subterranean biosphere to be far richer than on earth.

Bacteria: Boring, microscopic, and single celled.

Next Up, the Seas of Kanto...

Wait I don't get it, have you opened this thread for you and only you to post in or are we (the poster) supposed to help you?

I'm doing the project, but you can post here. I'm just showcasing it, you can post suggestions for example.

Eventually I'll have links to all my info posts set up. But right now it would be a tad redundant to link to the my only post.

Useless, perhaps, but interesting. It's quite a grand undertaking. I'm going to enjoy checking back with this every so often. I want to see what else you've come up with.

Intresting theory. If that world would be real. But it isn't.
The pokémon world isn't really realistic is it?

Life in the Pokemon World
As opposed to the many kingdoms of life in our world, in pokeworld (let us call it gaea) there are a mere five. Uhh, there ARE only five kingdoms of life in our world.

Fauna: Most Fauna are microscopic our near microscopic beings such as ants, copepods, tiny jellyfish, etc.Jellyfish and ants are not microscopic Others are colonies such as sponges. The largest of the fauna is the human.I'm confused. Define fauna. There is evidence to suggest fauna are not native to gaea.Explain this evidence Most scientist laugh at this, however.

Explains move breeding, good.

Microevolution is not something that happens in instants.Yet it does. Explain. Fungi: These are more common and resilent on gaea, allowing the subterranean biosphere to be far richer than on earth.Explain Shroomish and Breloom

Bacteria: Boring, microscopic, and single celled. Explain affiliation with Pokerus

That's all for now. Oh yeah, and good luck with continental drift.

??????

That guy.
The Pokemon universe is not obedient to the laws of this world. Pokemon is a FICTIONAL REALM.
