The reason I started my own personal guide for each Pokemon is because I believe in the potential of ALL natures. Not only do I look for moves that fit that particular nature best, but also at least one move that will cover up for weaknesses.
For example, take the Lonely Nature (+Attack, -Defense). It, like the other Attack-based Natures, are a shoe-in for physical attack sweepers, but it leaves itself vulnerable to heavy (physical) hits. So besides having mainly physical attacks, you'd want either something that'll lower the opponent's Attack (such as Growl), maybe Disable or some other move-stopper, or otherwise something that'll shut the opponent's attacks down for a while (like a Sleep-causing move, if you can get one).
Also, I believe in their potential in ALL contests. The secret is to look at their movelists and, keeping the "rules" in mind (i.e. what moves to use, and what moves NOT to use), looking for what moves to put in, not to mention best possible combos.
I mean, the PotW only looks at a part of the whole (and some of the views are a tad flawed, I admit). We need to look at ALL possibilities! That's the beauty of RPGs like Pokemon--it's all up to you and your whims!
Well, take care, y'all! ;315;
