My ruby game pak

When I turn on the game, before I select my file, it's been saying "the game's internal battery has run dry. You can still play the game, but clock based events won't occur."

What should I do/what is wrong?

ive been scared that might happen to me. the events like the store's sellout date, guru half offs, and massive swarms wont hapen. your berries also will stop growing, and everything that takes place every day, will end.

its happen to me a cpuple of times
basicly it means that your clock will not play any role at this game (if you were planning on evolving eeve to espion\umbreon)
buy beside that i think you can play the game

What can I do about this, because its not a huge problem, but I kind of want to grow berries again.

Is your game over a year old? If you havent already you can fix whats called the berry glitch by connecting it with a game released after ruby and saphire.

or the Jirachi bonus disk which you can buy on ebay for cheapness, plus get a Jirachi

This isn't the berry glitch, so you can't fix it with another pak.

This happened to my Ruby as well. I recomend you go out and buy Emerald and transfer each of your old Pokemon over to it. It's possible for you to replace the battery, but its far too much trouble. Do like I did and buy a new game, preferably Emerald if you're going to want to grow berries.

Its funny how it happens to SOME people, but it never happens to others, like me, my games clocks are all over a year old and they still do clock events.

you can fix it by getting fr/lg hook up on fr/lg press start and slect at the same time i think that will fix im pretty sure

And by the way you can never go back to mirage island coz the old man will always say that he cant see mirage island....

No, you can't fix this with FR/LG/E or Colloseum. This isn't the berry glitch, it's comepletely different. The actualy battery in the cartridge is dead. The berry glitch has to do with the actual programming in the game.

If that happens, your save file will keep deleting itself. Nintendo probably may be able to fix it.

Your file won't delete itself. My ruby is fine, and its battery died two years ago. Same file as always.

Don't bother sending it to Nintendo. Simply go out and purchase a new game and transfer your old Pokemon.

I your willing to wait a wekk or two for it, just end it to nintendo and they will install a battery for no chargs. And anyway, you just need to open the cartridge and replace the battery, it a button cell. Just one that you find in virtual pets and stuff. hope I helped!
