My sprite revamps (help needed)

So far ive only done one. it looks very good, but there is a problem. THE WHITE IS TRANPARENT! i did it on paint and i checked of draw opaque but its still transparent so i ask you..
1. How do i fix it and
2. Is it Serebii forums doing?

BTW: its saved as a gif.

after the problem is fixed i will post more.
And if this is against the rules, i blame the rules thread. They were very confusing and it seemed as soon as my question was asked it was deleted and unanswered.

EDIT: Problem Fixed

Painte butchers my g/s/c sprites so bear with me.
And without further ado:
Sneasel Revamp:

Noctowl Revamp:

IF THEY APPEAR TRANSPARENT: look at the images on a white background.

Yeah, baby!
To fix your problem, try coloring the background a color that won't appear in the picture, like blue or green. Then set the transparent BG color to that color.

Your sprites look good, but I'll have to give a full review when the problem is fixed

Umm i noticed in ms paint theres the two squares showing your left click color, your right click color, and they're inside a big square, is that what you mean? or do you mean making the area around the sneasels green?

EDIT: I tried changing that "third square" color, but when I saved it I got this:
gscrevamp-1.gif

It made the black transparent, maybe i have to swicth opaque back on?

EDIT: tried it. didnt work. Help?
