K, first bit of advice. On a trainer card, just copy and paste standard sprites; don't draw your own pics for it. Second bit of advice. Don't use the standard glaring colors on paint. Do custom colors, and remember to shade. And third piece of advice, use less scratch. If your not natrually talented at drawing, thats fine. Just take parts from other sprites and put them on the sprite. And lastly, don't butcher the outline. It makes the sprite look awful if the outline is too rough and choppy. I suggest you read Dragonfrees spriting guide. Shes a fantastic spriter as well as a mod on this forum, and it will help you out a lot

Yes I use MS paint
1. READ A TUTORIAL
2. DO NOT open a sprite request shop, you are definately not ready
3. Use real sprites instead of the sugimori art.
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/
4. when mixing try to make the pokemon blend together and be sure to recolor the final result.
5. Get rid of the dead pokemon, the cut option (any monky with a mouse can do that), and Lineless
6. When adding parts onto a trainer or a pokemon, please make them look like REAL pokemon parts
7. NEVER USE DEFAULT PAINT COLORS.
8. For eggs also use a sprite

Okay, many of these just suck. That Seviper burns my eyes! Argh! Your mixes are poor, since all you did was stick an un-recolored Chimecho head on Tyranitar. It's clear you used Paint for the trainer morph, the dark Pokemon, the Trainer Card, the chocolate Pokemon, the dead Blaziken, the egg, type alteration, and the "cel shaded", I have no idea what that is, like the 2 or 3 items. "Special colors" is confusing me. It's like the Lairon is covered in garbage. What the heck is with that Meganium, it's nothing like the real Missingno.. I guess I can give you credit for the linless Swellow & Cut Rayquaza picture.

oh my giod man, it's nice to see you want to sprite and all, but you have to admit it's still a bit too soon. you should start doing basic things exactly as told in tutorials, try to improve for yourself beforing doing things for others, it's easier and makes more sens :)
and there's somethings you need to know: don't kill the shading or the outline, don't use paint's default colours, never use the brush tool, draw things pixel by pixel with the pencil tool or for making them smoother use the curve tool, don't use resized sugimori art, use sprites, which are the 32bit images from the games, and never save as .jpg, save as .png.

good luck, why don't you have a look at the newbie's forum? i think there's an adopt a newbie thread where you can find someone who could help you to understand how this works and all.

The lineless one is the only good one. (no offense)

recolor: agh! Bad color choices! And by using the paint bucket, you completely destroyed the shading. Use a pencil tool to color over a color and use darker and lighter versions to do the shading and highlighting. And when changing the outline, use a darker version of the new base color that is noticably darker than the shading.

Mix: Sticking a head of another Pokémon on another's body does not equal a mix. It also involves recoloring the base Pokémon to the colors of the other.

Dark/Magma/Chocolate Pokémon: Same advice as Recolor.

Trainer Morphs: The added on stuff doesn't match the style of the rest of the sprite at all and isn't a sprite. (Sprites are a form of pixel art which makes things one pixel at a time)

Lineless: The lineless sprite is pretty good.

Type change: Same advice as Trainer Morphs.

Eggs: Use the egg sprite next time.

Special recolor and other things I didn't mention: no comment.

You do need some practice, but if you want to start a shop then I can't tell you other wise. This is a request thread, so Ill just move this for you.

OMG! Barf! Your sprites need serious help, and the best help, is PRACTICE!!! (and to read the tutorials). So, since you so need practice, lets see you make an orange Sneasel with a blue ear and green claws.

Err... How can I say this nicely? You need to read a tutorial, and not just paint over things and then not shade. You also need practice. You need to work on your lines and etc. You should try to use better colors for those certain pokemons you use, and you need to actually not copy and paste, you need to smoothe out the two (or more) pokemon (or other sprites) you mix together.

Your sprites need a lot of work check out the stickys on SPPF to see how to make them proper.

I'd hae tae igree wi'e the ithers , ye need practise man. (im scottish)
