First off, dont ever save as JPG. Save as PNG.

Secondly, they are very copy-pastey and look rushed (the fusions)... Fusions look a lot better if you scratch parts onto a sprite... If you are a beginner I would just stick with recolouring for now and then move on the fusions. Should you need help go look at the stickied tutorials at the top of the Fan Sprites page. The tutorials will help you with anything.

Just keep at it and I know you will get better. C;
