10% Stat boosting items suck, as do hax items like the one that was on crobat.

This team is way to physical based. Needs more special attack moves.

>_> okay.... let's not be rude please. ¬_¬

anyways, Sludge Bomb is an option for Torkoal too. Go with *Ryan*, Tazzler+Janina and Brown Bomber.

As for why your team wasn't so good is because you taught it way too many of the same kind of attacks. Like your Torkoal for example. You only taught it Fire attacks. What if Torkoal was up against something that could easily take a Fire attack? That's why you should never over lap attacks. Pay attention to their base stats too. Your Aggron might have diverse moves, but its Sp.Attack is so weak, that you're not going to accomplish much.

I hope this makes sense. >_>

Hm...

I like what *Ryan* suggested... except why shouldn't Swampert have any water-type moves?

Also, if somebody could tell me how to get EV's... and stupid as it may sound, I'm not exactly sure what special attack does. ><

Sp.Attack is well, Special Attack. The Sp.Attacks in the game are Water, Fire, Grass, Electric, Dark, Psychic, Dragon, and Ice. A Pokemon's Sp.Attack stat pretty much determines how much damage the move will do.

There's an EV guide some where around here.... ¬_¬;; lol

You COULD give Swampert Surf instead of Rest for ingame. :/

If this is one Emerald, your going to have a MEGA hard time at the Battle Frontier with the natures you have on your pokemon. I would give your Tropius Giga Drain rather than Solarbeam. Otherwise, it looks okay. But I'd get some natures that prefer attacking on your pokemon. Your Swampert's nature is very good though.

Okay... so far I've decided to replace Tropius with Breloom. I think Breloom is a pretty good Pokemon...
I'm not sure which nature is best for a Breloom, though. I've also caught a sassy-natured Swablu, which I'm going to evolve into an Altaria.

So here's what I plan to do in the end with Altaria and Breloom:

Altaria @ (?)
Nature: Sassy

-Refresh
-Sky Attack
-Flamethrower
(it's a dragon-type, so a fire attack will protect it against the ice-types.)
-Sing

Breloom @ White Herb
Nature: (?)

-Sky Uppercut
-Solarbeam
-Return
-Rest

That Breloom makes me cry.

Breloom @ Leftovers
Effect Spore
-Spore
-Mach Punch
-Focus Punch
-Sludge Bomb

Altaria @ Leftovers
Natural Cure
-Haze
-Dragon Claw
-Rest
-Sing

Replace Haze for Flamethrower to get FlameClaw since nothing that can stat-up InGame will threaten you.

So use Haze instead of Flamethrower, or use Flamethrower?

"Use Flamethrower," is what Nine Thou means.

That's about all the help that I can give you, stick to the pokemon's more dominant attack stat.
