My team

Well, this team is a team for mostly all the games. But my preferred battle type with this team is Double battle, so I'd say Colosseum and XD (although they're excellent at single battles as well).

Charizard ;006;
Female
@ none
Quirky nature
- Flamethrower
- Dragon Claw
- Fly
- Blast Burn

Dragonite ;149;
Male
@ None
Docile nature
- Aerial Ace
- Brick Break
- Outrage
- Earthquake

Salamence ;373;
Female
@ none
Quirky nature
- Dragon Claw
- Aerial Ace
- Brick Break
- Earthquake

Latios ;381;
Male (duh)
@ none
Lonely nature
- Dragon Claw
- Psychic
- Thunder/Dragon Dance
- Earthquake

Starmie ;121;
Genderless
@ Magnet
Hasty nature
- Pshychic
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump
- Thunder/Thunderbolt

Metagross ;376;
Genderless
@ Soft Sand ?
Brave nature
- Shadow Ball
- Brick break
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash

Well there it is.
I think you can guess by the movesets that my style of battling relies heavily on offense. I always go for the least amount of turns possible for a KO. This team goes very well. My Starmie, with its Hasty nature is a very good starter, and its moveset allows it to be effective against 9 different Pokemon Types. I'm thinking of letting Latios learn Dragon Dance instead of Thunder since my Starmie has an electric type attack, and Latios has a Lonely nature so Dragon dance wil be very good for him. My Metagross, with its Brave nature is the Pokemon with the highest potential of a quick KO. Its Meteor Mash deals serious damage to opponents every time, even its not very effective against them. Thats why I nicknamed it Destroyer. hehe.

Well, and to justify my reason for having 4 out of 6 knowing EQ is like I said before, I prefer Double Battles, and as you might have noticed already, 4 of my pokemon wont get hit by EQ so i can go crazy with it in battle. And I taught Brick Break to 3 of mine because Fightin type attacks are effective against 5 different Pokemon types. Chrizard is there to get rid of the Ice type pokemon that 3 of my team dislikes.

I'm still not sure of what items to give each one, because I don't really like Leftovers since I go for quick KO, and on the GBA games they take too much time. But I do use them when I'm in serious battles againt strong opponents.

Yeah, so overall, I tried to make this team able to support each other.

...Maybe I blabbered on too much.

If a BoltBeamer comes in, you're out. Suggestions are bolded.

A pogey with Ice Beam and Thunderbolt e.g. the standard Dragonite.

Well, since Metagross is fine against Ice beam and can take Thunderbolt, i taught it brick break, for those kind of threats (like the suggested Porygon2). And my Starmie can take on water pokemon that may know Ice Beam. Well, but I'll still take your advices and change a few moves as well as thinking of a special wall.

BTW OgLoc187, I already did mention that Charizard is there to get rid of Ice pokemon. And also Starmie if its a Water+Ice type pokemon like Lapras.

I know what you can do you can teach your Starmie Thunder/Thunder Bolt so you can take on any water pokemon.

Salamence Master
Oh sorry I didn't see the thunder on your starmie.

prophecy fulfilled
brick break is pointless on metagross

STABed Meteor Mash = 150 power
Super Effective Brick Break = 150 Power

now on tyranitar the only thing 4x weak to fighting

Super Effective STABed Meteor Mash = 300 power
4x Effective Brick break = 300 power

and meteor mash also gives you a 10% chance of an attack raise

...Good point... I never bothered to do the maths... Ok Brick break will be gone.

I am thinking of using Snorlax as a special wall

Snorlax ;143;
@Leftovers
Careful nature
- EQ
- Protect
- Rest
- Belly Drum

Any suggestions on this?
