I got this from Bulbanews (which got it from Pokeani):
Personally, I'm not overly keen on this... but I could be wrong and it might end up being rather enjoyable to watch some pokemon anime without trainers.
Released in November 2005 with 1.4 million copies sold, Pokémon Mysterious Dungeon will become a spinoff anime, beginning with a two hour anime special to be aired in July ahead of the release of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
The plot will follow the game closely, with a boy-turned-Pikachu as the main character and an Eevee as his partner. It seems that the Pokémon characters will be able to speak, as in the game.
