Mystery Dungeon 2 Recent Happenings Thread ~ READ FIRST POST

I recruited Manaphy. I was just training my team and Chatot went "ZOMG MANAPHYZ BAK" >_>;
Meh, I don't even like that thing :x
Then I went back to Special Rift to recruit Palkia. That thing's a pain to beat, it keeps on spamming Dragon Claw and Special Rend.. And Ancient Power always raised it's stats. I lost atleast nine times :|
The dungeon itself wasn't very friendly either, the Charizard use Flamethrower waaaay too often and Healing Wish Chimecho in a Monster House is just... Mean. I also forgot about Electivire's ability Motor Drive and made my partner use Discarge in a Monster House that had 5 Electivire in it X________X
I went there again and Evilyn (Mismagius) fainted, I think a Charizard used Flamethrower or something. I recruited a Chimecho on the same floor. It managed to stay alive and then it helped me beat Palkia with Healing Wish <3
I named the Palkia "Pearl". How original.

I've been in the Deep Dark Crater for like, forever, and Cresselia keeps getting killed by Mismagius who are hiding in the walls. >.<U I did battle Darkrai a couple of times, but he keeps using Hypnosis and giving Cresselia Bad Dreams. I DID use the Boss strategy, if you are wondering, and Darkrai DID eat the blinker seed, but after I beat all his allies, he got a lucky shot and made Splashes (parter Piplup) fall asleep. Then Cresselia fainted of bad dreams,but was revived! ^ ^ But then, Splashes fainted. >.< GAAAAGHHHHH I AM SO SICK OF THAT DARKRAI!!!!!

I have been going through the unlockable legendary dungeons, completing some for the first time, and returning to others for the legendary.
Today I completed sky stairway and recruited rayquaza on the first time. I revisited shimmer desert and got groudon, bottomless sea for kyogre and got articuno from mt avalanche. This means I only have to complete mew's jungle dungeon, and i have to go back to world abyss to get girantina.
Torterra (I only travel solo) is now lv 91, with stats around the 140-160's. ;123;

Just before I unlocked Aegis Cave (AKA The Devil's Dungeon), I got a mission to unlock Shimmer Hill. It required a Psychic-type partner, so I recruited a Meditite in the Final Maze and evolved it posthaste. The escort turned out to be a Kadabra, who stepped on a PP-Zero Trap and lost all its Teleports. Good thing it did, otherwise it'd be warping around all over the floor.
Just before I unlocked Aegis Cave (AKA The Devil's Dungeon), I got a mission to unlock Shimmer Hill. On Time, I recently recruited an Eevee called Flare and an Eevee called Vapor. I wonder which Eeveelutions they'll evolve into, huh? I already have Jolt, Esp, Umbre, Leaf and Glace.

I beat Darkrai last night. The dungeon was hard, so the boss battle was relatively easy. I did have to cover Cresselia a bit. Too late did I realize I should have used the same strategy on Darkrai that I did on Dusknoir: Stun Seed, baby! But a combination of Blaze and Sleep Seeds made everything a little easier.
I also beat Final Maze this morning! I was down to an empty belly, with little to no food in my Treasure Bag. I managed to subsist on Slack Off (that's why I love Chimchar, baby) and a couple Max Elixers! Oh, and a Spinarak's Fury Swipes hit not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE times! I tell ya, if Totodile didn't know Bodyguard, I never would have made it to the end! Thank you, Totodile. I owe it all to you, man! (starts singing Whitney Houston) AND IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII... WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

Well, I unlocked the Marine Resort. And on my way to recruit Palkia, I managed to recruit Latias (yay!). I missed Latios, though (boo!),but I still managed to recruit Palkia, though I had to deal with a Discharge-spamming Magnezone in the rain when I went to open the chamber. And it didn't help that Palkia kept spamming Spacial Rend. I think I lost about six Reviver Seeds in the process (I eat the Seeds once they're used up, so I don't really have a frame of reference). But hey, now I can evolve! Yay!
I think I'll explore the Marine Resort next.

Well i recently beat dialga after 10 times. -_-Soon after Ive been doing missions with different pokemon and I evolved them also. Recently though i was KO'ed in "Lake Afar" at B14 which got me annoyed since i go jumped by 2 monster houses.-_- Also guys if you wanna take on a monster house i suggest always carrying a "Petrify Orb', "foe hold orb", or a spurn orb since they either stun or warp everyone in the room. I guess ima go back to training now.

Well, I finally recruited Latios! The f***er led me to a monster house, so I had to use up a Foe-Hold Orb. Man, I can't even tell you how many Gligar wanted to join me on that trip! I also managed to recruit a Honchkrow, but I don't really know what to teach him. I've got Roost for recovery and Night Slash for attacking, but that's about it. Any recommendations? If so, PM me.

I got my leader, Torterra to lv 100, and, for the first time in MD2 I was able to defeat a kecleon without being killed. I hope to get to where i was in MD1, were i could defeat kecleons 100% with the A button attack (but it will take a lot of proteins/gummis).
I also went through aegis cave, attempting to recruit the unowns that I dont have. At the end of the dungeon I had 26/28 unowns, need U and ?. While regice and registeel didnt join, Regiggigas did. I am coming up to 400 recruits, i have about 390/524. ;123;

I added Glaceon to the team to equal it out a little with the type difference and for other reasons.
Now i got a Secret Slab from a wondermail mission to help a Happiny find one in HappyOutlook. I probablly won't use it because i already have one and end up trading it over wifi for another item i don't have or it will sit in my box.
I recruited quite a few new pokemon to the group including a Ivysaur, a burmy, a Staravia and more. I have been on alot of missions and have ranked up and have resieved more storage space and other stuff. The rewards for most the missions where Gummi's, Money and type special items.

I finally recruited a Riolu. I fed it literally all of my Gummis (except the ones that benefit my main team) in aneffort to get it to evolve (I do have a Sun Ribbon). I doubt it'll replace anyone on my main team, since I'm already a Fighting-type (Monferno). But hey, who doesn't want a Lucario?
I got through Blizzard island and Crevice Cave with pokemon in the low 40's to rescue Shizor (finally), and received the secret rank. I then tried bottomless Sea, but it was too tough for me, and I turned off the game after being KOed (I was on the bus going to work, so it would have been at least 6 hours before I could ask for a rescue).
I did rescue someone just recently in Temporal Tower, and I'm awaiting a Thank You Mail. I also sent a Reviver Seed to help her out.

i got Explorers of Darkness for my birthday, which was REALLY exciting because i can't afford many games, and i LOVE pokemon and id never played anything other than the main pokemon games.
i'm still getting the hang of it, and reading through this thread, it looks like thre's a LOT of stuff i don't know how to do, but i'm halfway through the temporal tower, stuck at a kanghastan rock with no oran berries. fml.
