i thought they had all the aspects of being a good game and most of the people i know agree with me

Yeah, but they didn't quite make it to be a good seller. The only people (in my opinion) who really enjoy it and buy it are those little kiddies that are in third grade that enjoy easy games.

On the other hand, if you're in high school or college, you, like me, wouldn't be looking forward to the new PMD if there was one.

They were pretty fun, just crappy story.
And pretty short.I beat it in 2 days =P
But I hope they make a new, better one.

NO.

The first two games were lousy. I wouldn't want to see another PMD, unless they start doing some major changes.

Here's an idea: have Nintendo concentrate on making primary Pokemon RPGs!

I know how to get rich.

No and for the following reasons:
1) first ones sucked
2) had a crappy story line
3) Way to short and then just pointless to continue
4) Pokemon should stick to regular games instead of wasting time with stupid ones like mystery dungeon.

Honestly the game was fun until you got to the part when your pokemon is flying off into the sky then it just plain SUCKED!

Yes, they should make a PMD remake, but calling it Green Rescue Team? No. Everyone should stop giving PMD a hard time. They were good games and gaves us access to all of the Pokemon at the time. Sure it wasn't the same as the GBA games, but still. Graphics were cool too. I actually like the story. Interesting and fun and gave you some stuff to do after you beat it. It also sort of united people. All the vets rescuing the newbies and stuff(although some of the newbies rescued and some vets needed rescuing).

Put this in the PMD/Ranger/Trozei section and you'll get more people saying yes then people saying no here.

They were excellent games, except for the fact that you cannot get 4th Gen Pokemon. The games had a better storyline than most of the RPGs. :/

most of you say that the first ones suck but it was the FIRST one. usually the first one is just to see what happens then they correct there mistakes and the next ones are a lot better. i know a ton of games in which the first ones where bad then the company made a second one and it was a lot better

I seriously considered getting PMD many months ago...Naturally, I read the game reviews to see if there was anything people commonly considered wrong with it, and as it turns out, there were many. I hated Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories solely because it was a dungeon crawler with randomised dungeons (though the battles were very fun); it turned out that random dungeons don't work here either and especially not with the repetitive tile patterns and traps that make no sense.

PMD, by the way, is not a first outing. The company that made this had made many Mystery Dungeon games before, all of which never got good acclaim from the critics. They weren't going to change the formula, so they put a Pokémon tablecloth over it to make it sell.

By the way, would I support a Green version? If they un-randomize the dungeons and make them shorter, perhaps. Most likely they wouldn't because randomized dungeons, as dreadfully boring and odd (in a bad way) that they are, are a staple of the Mystery Dungeon series, and the odds of the company un-randomizing them would be about the same as making a Sonic platformer game without Rings.

No. Its a pointless game -.- It makes Pokémon look like they AREN'T actually animals, but intelligent, almost human-like creatures. At most, they're as smart as you common dog... With the exception of those which are stated otherwise (Alakazam, Lapras, Gardevoir etc.). And, unlike how the animé has portrayed them, they aren't sentient...

only way I'd like pmd green is if they revamped, new storyline, longer storyline, 4th gen pokemon, and be able to do more stuff than just dungeons, or have some dungeons not randomize.

agreed, and while we're at it, keep it on DS please! Red sucked because it was on GBA.

Wow a regular player would beat it in a day....
anyways I voted yes but by accident I would prefer no because it stunk out loud it had a good story line but it was too short

Yeah, the boss battles were way too easy. Make the battles actually more challenging, and lengthen the storyline. A better plot as well, though I am inclined to a GS remake
