Mystery Dungeon is coming out...but for only the DS?

Is Mystery Dungeon Red/Blue just coming out for the DS?Because on Pokemon.com I saw no mention of the GBA one.

I know in Japan there was one Mystery Dungeon(Blue) and one for the GBA(Red). I was hoping to buy the GBA one,but now I'm worried that only the DS one will be released.(Since I don't have a DS)

Can someone help me by clarifying this?

Well there was a bug with the Japanese Mystery Dungeon Red whenever you connected to the Blue, and I think Red had to be called back.Maybe NoA didn't want to take that risk?

Omega Pirate

shove it up ya bum!
Possibly. The GBA version probably didn't sell as much as the DS version in Japan aswell so they've decided to make them both DS.

There was a bug when the game was first released. If you had RSEFRLG in the GBA slot and turned it on with Dungeon Blue in the DS slot, IIRC, the GBA game would erase.

Well, Serebii.net says that Blue will be on the DS and Red on GBA, but maybe Blue will be compatible with D/P and Red will be compatible with R/S/E?

I know there is a Dungeon Blue for the DS and a Dungeon Red on the GBA, but in Japan.Dungeon Red IS compatible with Dungeon Blue.

What I'm wondering(well one of the things) is that if both Dungeon games are going to be for the DS in the english speaking countries;the US.

Like I stated before, on Pokemon.com it doesn't mention anything about a Dungeon game for the GBA only Dungeon for the DS.In fact I don't think it even mentions Dungeon Red!*goes and checks*
EDIT: Like I thought Pokemon.com doesn't mention Dungeon Red.I got disturbed when they kept calling Mystery Dungeon Blue just "Mystery Dungeon"like if it was going to be the only one.Where did Serebii get the logos for Mystery Dungeon Red though...

What I REALLY hope now is that they release Dungeon Red as a surprise or a little bit after the Dungeon Blue gets released.
I just hope they do release Dungeon Red for the GBA or I'm going to have to find a way to get a DS...

But are they going to keep them on the same systems as they were in Japan?

KEY INFORMATION
• For the first time ever, the player is a Pokémon, speaking and interacting with other characters in a world populated only by Pokémon.
• A deep, involving and dramatic story brings the player into a world of Pokémon not seen or experienced before.
• Strategic battles enhance the adventure.
• Randomly generated dungeons make every mission unique.

Game storyline: One day the player awakens to find that he or she has been turned into a Pokémon. The land is being ravaged by natural disasters so the player decides to form a rescue team with a partner Pokémon. The player can interact with many different Pokémon on various missions while trying to uncover their true purpose and destiny. An engrossing story of adventure, redemption and, most of all, friendship.

Characters: Players can choose to be a Pokémon, and then choose another Pokémon to be their partner. Numerous Pokémon can become friends with the player and can be called upon to join his or her rescue teams. Assuming the role of a Pokémon, the player converses with other Pokémon for the first time using engaging graphics with various Pokémon expressions.

How to progress through the game: Players form a rescue team with a Pokémon friend, accept various missions and try to help Pokémon in trouble. They go into many dungeons and strategically make their way through many floors. The layout of the dungeons is randomly generated, so they present a different challenge every time. Strategy and thinking are the keys to clearing the dungeons and completing the missions.

Special powers/weapons/moves/features: A massive amount of game play with endless replay value; many rescue missions to conquer – even after the main story reaches its climactic conclusion. The game starts off easy and advances in difficulty as the player progresses. It will appeal to novice and expert Pokémon fans alike. For the first time, a Pokémon’s moves can be “linked” and used together in one turn. This feature offers the player a strategic choice of attacks and is an entirely new concept in the Pokémon world.
