n00b queston about Base Stats.

Ok, so, i understand the whole concept of base stats and that crap, but here's the question, are these base stats hard coded into the pokemon, or, what. like, if a pokemon is 'sharked' lets say, are the base stats going to be a give away?

those arnt the exact base stats that your pokemon will recieve, its like a close average or estimate

the base stats are always the same for a given species of pokemon. if you shark a deoxys, and catch a deoxys, their base stats will be the same.
