So listening to Moonlight Sonata i can't help wonder what do people prefer in their music? alittle jazz, some salsa? R&B or classical? what is your go to brand when you need time to unwind and watch the world go by?

Mostly dance-pop and EDM, but in regards to unwinding, I like to listen to old classic songs from the earlier half of the 20th century and ballads from singers of all time periods. But not the scream-your-lungs-out ballads like "I Will Always Love You" or "My Heart Will Go On". Quieter. Three songs I particularly like, possibly in part because my mother loved them when I was little, are "Sweet Surrender", "Building a Mystery", and "Adia" from Sarah McLachlan's album Surfacing. Another of my favorites to relax to is Janelle Monae's "Sir Greendown".

Metal: Three Days Grace, 10 Years, Silent Season, Linkin Park, Escape The Fate, Stutterfly, Plan Three.
Heavy Metal: Heaven Shall Burn, All That Remains, Five Finger Death Punch, Blessthefall.

Pretty much a lot of metal songs.

†Stay Metal†
Various forms of rock and metal, and, out of personal choice, all of them are either Christian or debatable enough to be considered Christian.

I don't really have a preferred genre. Well, I probably do, but I don't know what it is. I do know one thing, though; I despise the majority of today's pop music.

I just like music that has a remarkable rhythm and an excellent use of certain instruments (violins are the sex). I don't find vocals to be necessary, but they are often pleasing.

I'm so awkward and strange when it comes to everything music.

Name my kind of music? That kind of music that goes on forever. Techno, trance, depressive emo-stuff.

Any form of northern European metal.

Anything but country. I don't know why, but it gets on my last nerve. I mainly listen to Pop. I also love me some Panic! at the Disco and Paramore.

I like to think I have a wide taste in music, but most my tunes are usually Post-Hardcore, Alternative Hip-Hop, anything defined as Punk, and Classic Rock/Metal. Band-wise, A Day To Remember, Kid Cudi, Spose, Metallica, Nirvana, Nickelback, Weezer, Green Day, Papa Roach, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and lately, some older Eminem, just to name a few.

I stay noided
My music taste is pretty eclectic but only in modern music ( i don't like classic rock). I like rock (Muse, rise against, madina lake, 30 seconds to mars, innerpartysystem, Sublime, others), alternative (florence + the machine, gorillaz, others), pop, especially british pop (kate nash, lily allen, ellie goulding, sara barielles, others), and electronic/dubstep (skrillex, deadmau5, dodge abd fuski, others). A few older pop groups stand out to me (The b-52s, ABBA) but generally I prefer modern stuff. Oh, and spanish gypsy music or salsa. I love that stuff.

I have a very difficult raste to pinpoint. Anywhere from Three Days Grace to Eminem, Escape the Fate to Hollywood Undead, Atreyu to Paramore. It's... complicated. Basically, anything besides pop or country.

Rave
