The only plus point was that it was the only time Ash used 6 Pokémon in a gym battle. I do wish that one time the eighth gym leader could be 6on6.

The Lycanroc battle was ok but I'm gonna miss Acerola.

Absolutely pathetic animation quality that killed the entire battle. Just awful. Lycanroc was basically biting in slow motion. Fire everyone involved in animation this episode.

Lycanroc literally defeated Three of a Kahuna's Pokemon in this Episode and yet people still say that Ash's Alola Team isn't at the same Power-Level as his OS-XY Teams. If you put up the Six he used against Kukui, in a dream match against his Kalos Team, then Alola Team would actually win (A Mythical, An Ultra Beast, Incineroar & Lycanroc, Over-Powered Pikachu which only lost ONE BATTLE throughout the entirety of Sun & Moon). The only weak point is Rowlet but it has the power of Plot Armor so it could still pull off something.

Getting healed mid battle seems fair to me considering Lycanroc was forced to defeat three Pokemon by itself
