You thought the Chunnin Madness was going to start off with a slump? Guess what: It started with a bang! Beleive me, there is so much Genjutsu in this episode that your head will spin in full circles, Beleive It! Also, meet a new kind of Shipping, "Rockshipping"; I can't beleive that freaky Rock Lee actually likes Sakura!!! Woah, the shippings in this world are so confusing, but at least I think he's cool!​

Beleive it when the US sees it tonight at 9:30 - Only Toonami gets it on Saturdays not as a world premiere anymore...I LOVE YTV, we also get uncut Gundam Seed right after!

Upon looking at Cartoon Network's website, it looks like Toonami will show two episodes of Naruto on Saturdays, at least on February 4th and 11th. Don't get the wrong idea though. The first episode (at 8:00 PM) will just be a repeat of the last episode. The second one (at 9 PM) will be the new episode. Also, here is a new dub title:

Imo, I think they made Rock's voice WAY to low and Neji's WAY to high But that's just me.

[spoil]The rest of the episode was fine though. A few dialouge line changes here and there (which I won't point out this time since some of you can't seem to take it) But that's all there was. Nothing special. Oh, and I think they edited out blood from when Sasuke-Kun was lying on the ground with all the Kunai in his back (I'm not sure though, since I haven't watched this ep in a while)[/spoil]

Anyway, I enjoyed the episode. I still don't understand why Sasuke treats Sakura like he does...heck, if it were me, I'd reciprocate the feeling...w/e.

I stand by Temari's voice with full force

Gaara's is okay

Kankuro's voice is better

The [SPOIL]Sound 3 [/SPOIL] are cast well

Lee's voice is too normal if you ask me, it doesn't go off key like the Japanese version. In case you're wondering, I think the English Lee loses a bit of that lugibrious charm, but it's not horrible.

Neji's is too "soft" [SPOIL]for the time being[/SPOIL]

I need to hear TenTen's voice again (or as she settles in her role) before I pass judgment.

Can't wait to hear some of the other characters, especially since the Chuunin exam drops them by the handful

I missed the first half, so I'll have to wait to comment on anyone who wasnt Rock Lee, Tenten or Neji.
Personaly, Rock didnt sound... Three-stoges enough for me.
Tenten sounded... alittle to old.
and neji was just wrong.

Damn, Viz ruined Rock Lee with that dub voice. The others were alright, but Lee's dub voice was just terrible. They were doing alright with the voices for a while now (except Naruto's voice, in my opinion [and Sakura's wasn't that good either]), but they failed in this part.

...TenTen does not sound sexy. -.-;; She just sounds mature...and a bit odd, but her voice is fine with me. It could've been better, but whatever.

Lee's was...meh. Not very good. Neji's is okay, but it could've been better. The Sound Nins sounded better than I expected.

Gaara's voice is pretty good; suits him well.
As I mentioned before, I expected Kankuro to have a gruffer voice, but at least he doesn't sound too old.
Temari sounds a little old
Tenten sounds fine, but her giggle sounds cute though
Rock Lee sounds okay
Neji umm... I had to hear more from him
The Sound Ninjas voices really suits them, but I do need to hear them more before judging

I can't wait for the next episode because I want to see Gai's hilarious intro.

Well, technically...Temari is older than all the Konoha rookies.

My friend's reaction was that Kankuro still sounds like an -bleep-hole. The end result is they got his character nailed down.

Brian Donovan (Davis/Daisuke from Digimon 02) was Rock-freaking-Lee! Whoa, back in anime voicing since Disney dubbed those Digimon movies eh, Brian?

I expect Gai to be voiced by James Lyon (Martin Zignard on S-cry-ed, Janyu Wong on Digimon Tamers and Duke Red on Metropolis) or Taylor Henry (played Jelly Jiggler from Bobobo-bo Bobobo). Both sound alike to me, but one's had experience voicing a wacky coach on one of my favorite anime series.

Seriously, the cast of Naruto is really expansive though. It just makes me oh so giddy.

I'm not liking Lee's voice, it just sounds too sort of all-American teen. No one start lacing into me about how it's a dub and he's obviously not going to sound Japanese, blah blah blah, he just doesn't sound right. Lee's voice in the Japanese version totally carried off his character, I guess I'll wait and see more before I make my final judgement though.

Neji isn't too bad, hasn't said much to comment on though, Ten Ten does sound a little old for her character though.

anyway, scripting is still good, edits are still few and far between. Next week we see Gai Sensei, this is going to be the ultimate test of the dub voice actors, Gai can NOT be pulled off effectivley with a 'normal' voice. There's still a lot to be seen in the next few weeks.

I was going to "there's no way that could happen," but Scott McNeil did a voice with FUKi, so who's to say it couldn't...?

Yes! Someone who actually agrees with meee!! XD Lee's voice does sound too normal o__O It.. It was just different in the Japanese XD I... Can't really put my finger on it though, and I don't wanna sound stupid so I'll just leave it at that XD

Neji is thirteen years old. If he has a deep sounding voice like that of a man's then we have a problem here. o___0

Also, had to keep up with the 'FUKi' line, eh, Haruka's Swimsuit? Maybe it is just me, but I'm starting to regard that sa '4Krap' and "What the HFIL?!' nowadays, which is kind of sad.

Anyway, personally I wish Johnny Bosch (Vash the Stampede from Trigun) would've voiced Lee. Would've carried him damn-near perfectly since Bosch can reach a teen's voice with emotion (proof with Kaneda from Akira). And I know that it won't happen... but man, I would kill for Doug Smith (Kintaro Oe from Golden Boy) to voice Gai. That would be perfect in every sense.

From the sound of things, nobody truly agrees if a voice fits or not for the new cast that we have heard, but apparently the majority agree that Gaara's is awesome. Good job Liam O'Brian.

I'll put up some more comments once I actually see the reply this upcoming weekend.
