I like the OP and ED. Both became pretty quickly my favorites.

I also like how they're handling Iwabe in this arc. Really made me feel connected to his character.

How was that even possible to escape that Juubi nuke? Now he's half cyborg and needs escort help.

Mitsuki "hugging" Boruto like that was weird. Also chapter mentions the current anime arc making it more look like canon.

The chapter also makes reference to the arc we're in now with the anime. So we can put that filler argument to rest.

HOLY SH*******! The best ever female character in the Narutoverse got into the manga!

Waited for this since months and now I am more than happy to see her. Even better for my dream ship in the future. Just hope she didn't gave up to be a fighting kunoichi and that research thing to be a hobby she did during the Chunin exam.

Inuzuka Akita is new waifu. I wonder if she's somehow related to Kiba since they're in the same clan.

Kotosuke actually was quite a friendly character and that bit at the end where Boruto forgives him with his reaction to that was slightly touching.

The fight was decent, even if Sarada pretty much got a free win thanks to the flash gadget.

Overall it didn't contributed to much to the plot. But I think the chapter was rather ment to finally introduce Sumire into the manga together with a new character being Akita. But the monthly release is the problem here. If this chapter was splitted into two and the manga being weekly, then everything would be fine, but now it's kinda slow.

So the cartoon and manga are both canon. And before Boruto defeated a god, he prevented a bloody coup. Neat. Now I want to see where the other supporting characters are at.

Makes you think how far the series has come when you see Shino having conferences with his generations off-springs.

Surprised he hasn't been paired up or given a child yet. Or yet to be seen.

Getting better and better. In this episode, the animation is great and the only thing i wish was better is if they showed shino fighting mitsuki, if only just a little.

Current anime is into the first real filler zone right now, so I think I am going to skip the next few episodes. Only exception would be when Sumire, her team or Iwabe's team appears.

Am I the only one here who thinks Boruto is a drag? I mean, some episodes are great but the filler episodes are just too much!! It gets a bit dragging for me. And hopefully, we get to see more of Inojin's skills (hopefully he will be a Sai prodigy too) and more Himawari training or jutsu on screen!

Sad that the noble thieves weren't so noble after all. Not totally unexpected but disappointing. Once that flashback and the fading mark were shown, the villain immediately lost any good or interesting factor he may have had if the backstory we saw (the manipulated one) was actually true. That would put conflicting and interesting ideas against each other. I liked the dwelling on one centralized city not being able to help all the surrounding population and the fact that "robin hoodery", while still thievery, clearly benefits the poor, as shown in the past episodes. I liked how shikadai considered that to be a noble cause for some time and i wish his conflict with ryogi went something similar to naruto and haku's. But unfortunately, ryogi was acting based on altered memories and therefore he's just a mislead soon-to-be ally. This mini arc had a lot of potential but sadly chickened out in the end. Next episode looks pretty lame.

I gave Boruto a break sometime after they became Genin, because it just wasn't very good after that. Well Boruto in general isn't good, and I feel bad for anyone who thinks this will be the next big thing.

Really it's the manga that's hurting it so bad but that's for another day.

Snot jutsu. Seriously? Really hope when we get to Kinoha’s destruction, we see something neat. Like Metal Lee opening the 8th Gate and not needing ANY medical attention.
