National Dex again

I know I brought it up, but that was during Sapphire and 6 badges.

I just started Emerald again, with my EV team ready to be traded from Sapphire.

Should you be able to trade Pokemon when you get your 2nd badge, that's when you are able to trade Pokemon that are not on the Hoeun dex.

Because when I got 6 badges on Sapphire, I had Charmeleon, Ivysaur, Kanto Pokemon traded from Emerald before I did a factory reset.

Looks like I can trade proper when I get my 2nd badge, is that correct?

On Emerald, you can't trade over pokemon not in the Hoenn dex until you get the national dex, which isn't until you beat the E4. In sapphire its different, you can trade them over as soon as you can trade.

No one is kidding you. You can trade pokemon that are found in the hoenn dex, though.

Which only leaves my EV trained Level 30 Pikachu lol.

Might as well raise those teams in Sapphire to Level 50. And then when I complete the game, I'll just trade them when Emeald is complete.
