how many pokemon do you need to finish your national pokedex?

i'm from australia and i have 382 and i got the diploma for it
does national pokedex completetion mean a trainer star?

In R/S/E, there is 386 Pokémon available (national Pokédex).

i think you need to have 385 pokemons because of celebi

386, minus the "unobtainables" (Jirachi, Doxys, Mew, Celebi) = 382. Make sure your 382 doesn't include one of the "unobtainables" and you're done.

i still need ho-oh from coloseum

Wait a sec...it might be possible that you don't need Lugia or Ho-oh either.
