After alot of research this is my new 2 vs. 2 team for the Nationals Qualifier. Rules.
Groudon @ Salac Berry
Evs: 6 HP, 252 SA, 252 SD
Adament nature for extra attack or Jollly nature to outrun Kyogre?
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Overheat or Flamethrower? What's best?
Exeggutor @ Cheri Berry
EV's: 38 HP / 252 SA / 220 spd
Modest Nature
- Solar Beam
- Protect
- Sleep Powder
- Explosion
Groudon for the sunny weather. Exeggutor is the sunnybeamer.
Rayquaza @ Shell Bell
Trait: Air Lock
EVs: 252 Atk / 6 SAtk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Extremespeed
- Rock Slide
- Ice Beam (I know it's out of place on a physical sweeper but, I figure it could be useful against a double Intimidate.)
- Earthquake
Aerodactyl @ Choice Band
Trait: Rock Head
EV's: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Double-Edge
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Aerial Ace
Aerodactyl & Rayquaza are my speedy openers
Gengar @ Lum Berry
EVs: 6 HP, 252 SA, 252 spd
Timid Nature
- Skill Swap
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Punch
- Destiny Bond
Slaking @ Leftovers
EV's: 252 ATTK / 252 SPD / 6 HP
Jolly Nature
- Rock Slide
- Bulk Up
- Protect
- Earthquake
Gangar uses Skill Swap on slaking to give it Levitate while slaking uses Bulk Up then I sweep. Or I could replace Slaking & Gangar with this.......
Gengar @ Lum Berry
EVs: 6 HP, 252 SA, 252 spd
Timid Nature
- Swagger
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Punch
- Destiny Bond
Metagross @; Persim Berry (heals confusion)
EVs: 6 hp / 252 Atk / 252 spd
Adamant Nature
- Agility
- Meteor Mash or Shadowball?
- Earthquake
- Explosion
For this alternative strategy I use Swagger on Metagross. Then Metagross heals itself with the Persim Berry and uses Agility. Do I need to say more?
Here is my strategy if I'm competing against some noob with Mewtwo and a bunch of other Legendaries. I'll start with Aerodactyl and Rayquaza. If I'm against a Kyogre weather team I'll start with the same. If I'm against another Groudon weather team I'll start with Groudon & Exeggutor and hope for the best. I know I have four Pokemon weak to Ice that's why I like the Metagross combo so atleast I have resistence to Ice
