I was wondering with the natures that do no stat changes,hardy,docile etc,what is the difference/s between them apart from the word??

Yes, natures change the stats of a Pokemon e.g A flygon with a hasty nature
would be faster but with less defence ect

Thats not what i mean, i mean what is the difference between all the natures that do not give stat changes, for example whats the differences between hardy and quirky??

Well technically there is a difference but it's not noticable. If I remember correctly the neutral natures each raise one stat but also lower the same stat so it stays the same. I'm not sure which is for which stat though.

So wouldn't that mean there is no differences between hardy and quirky, as both natures cancel each other out??

Well ignoring the fact that's it probably wrong;

Hardy - +10% Attack, -10% Attack
Quirky - +10% Special Attack, -10% Special Attack

It would be something like that. But yes, in the end all the neutral natures turn out the same.

I'm just hoping I remembered this correctly. o.o;

hmmm, but even though they cancel each other out, would'nt the hardy nayure have better attack then the quirky for example. As it focuses on attack. For instance if you trained both to level 100 without EV training if that was possible even though it is not????

Like I said in one of my previous posts, I'm not sure which corresponds to which, but it does end out the same.

Saying Hardy was Attack again, you have a Flygon with Max Attack EVs so it has a total of 299. The nature increases that Attack to 328; however the nature also decreases it by 10% so it goes back down from 328 to 299.

Ok question answered thanks, so this means there is no difference in me having a hardy pidgeot to a quirky one. Apart from IV's etc.

And like in the battle thing in battle fronteir i'm pretty sure the nature can help predict what kind of attack your pokemon will use

(the one that you can't choose the attacks)
