Are more natures rarer then others? For example is an Adamant nature rarer than a Hasty nature, or do all natures have the same opportunity of coming up. Please help because I am looking for different natures and I wanted to know if some of them are rare.

...it just really really doesn't feel like it sometimes. one of the benefits of emerald that tempts me is the ability to influence natures through breeding. it takes longer in the other games, but you will eventually get the right natures.

There is a affect in a nature on the area you are in since I have done loads of breeding and when I hatch it in a certain place it stays the nature it always was.

yes... that will give you a 50% chance of getting the nature the ditto has.

You're only getting these results because a Pokemon's Nature is set when you RECEIVE the Egg, not when you hatch it. That's why it's always the same Nature.

But then your neutral natured Pokemon have a greater chance of being found for you have a 5 out of 36 chance of being found (for there are five neutral natures). However each individual nature has only a 1 out of 36 chance.

How did you get that? There are 25 different natures.

You have a 1/25 chance of getting a certain nature.

You have a 5/25 chance of getting a neutral nature.

A 4/25 chance of getting a nature that raises attack.

A 4/25 chance of getting a nature that lowers speed.

And so on.

The Everstone only works with Ditto OR the female Pokemon. If you're using a male or genderless the Everstone won't pass on the Nature.

Certain natures on pokemon aren't rare. Just random. Though, if you're searching for a pokemon with a certain nature, it always seems like the rarest. ^_^
