Hi dont want to post this as fanfic yet until people have offered advice:

CHAPTER ONE

Ryan stepped out into the open, he looked around him and smiled to himself. He walked over to a nearby tree and sat under its shadow, enjoying the warm breeze that blow gently on his face. He slowly closed his eyes and sunk back relaxing against the tree’s thick trunk.

He opened his eyes again to see a girl standing in front of him, he had long, blonde, flowing hair and large blue eyes. She smiled sweetly at him and her rosy cheeks seemed to glisten in the sunlight.

“Hi Ryan,” she said nervously shuffling her bag that hung loosely around her arm like a handbag. Ryan motioned for her to join him and she sat next to him and quickly tried to make conversation.

“So,” she thought about what to say then added, “do you know what starter pokemon you’ll choose?”
Ryan looked deeply into her eyes and sighed,

“Well I’m not sure, how about you?” he asked turning to her expectantly.

“Well I love the grass pokemon, Chikorita!” she exclaimed happily.
Ryan laughed and shifted closer to her., she giggled nervously and smiled at him.

“I heard a lot of people are travelling together, want to travel with me?” she asked nervously. Ryan smiled and touched her arm gently,

“Of course, who else would I want to travel with Ellie?”

Alex glanced at the paper he held in his hand and checked he had the right address,

“The official trainer registration office.” he read the sigh that stood outside an extremely tall building which was silver but green on each side. It was covered in hundreds of neatly lined, glimmering windows.
He walked in and his eyes widened in surprise at the hundreds of people his age all sitting around on metallic coloured chairs. The gentle chatting of people seemed to give the place an intimidating atmosphere.
Alex walked to an empty seat and glanced around the room, scanning each face to see if he recognized any of them.
He sighed and looked down at his paper again, it clearly stated that his number was 231.

“Number 229 to the front desk please, that’s number 229 to the front desk,” a calm, female voice said through the loud speaker. The gently talking stopped and the sound of rustling papers filled the room as everyone checked their papers. One boy stood up near the back and smiled sweetly to his friend and left her to go to the front desk. As he walked toward Alex his face suddenly widened into a large grin.

Ryan grinned happily as he saw his best friend sitting near the front desk that he was heading to,

“You alright mate?” Ryan asked casually. Alex nodded and smiled, he then motioned toward the desk telling Ryan to hurry up.
Ryan quickly walked toward the main desk which was extremely long and made of mahogany. Only one plump woman with long, curly brown hair sat behind it.

“Hi, I’m Ryan, number 229,” Ryan said sheepishly waiting for his orders.

“Ok go to room 7 on the 4th floor for your photo and then fill out these forms,” she said handing him a stack of papers, “and take them to room 9 on the 8th floor.”
She nodded toward the lift and Ryan walked slowly toward it.

“Number 230 to front desk, that’s number 230 to front desk,” said the announcer again and Ellie slowly stood and walked to the desk.

Ryan, Alex and Ellie all walked out of the automatic, sliding doors together. Ryan breathed in deeply and smiled at his two friends.

“Alright then, time to go get our starters!” he said happily. Alex and Ellie nodded and smiled to.
They entered a small metallic building and looked around. They were many young professors in training running around with papers or studying pokemon at their desks.

“Ah hello,” said a tall man with jet black hair. He looked down at the three people that stood in front of him.

“Hi dad, how is my pokemon doing?” Ryan asked laughing.
Professor Bowen smiled and replied, “Well we’ve got your three choices here!”
Ellie instantly grabbed to pokeball with a leaf sticker on it.

“Yes a Chikorita!” she exclaimed joyfully.

“Well I quite like water pokemon so I’ll have Squirtle please,” Alex stated shyly taking the pokeball with a teardrop sticker on it.

“Oh ok then,” Ryan laughed and took the last pokeball, “I’ll take Torchic.”

END CHAPTER ONE

Thanks bye,
Ryan

Boip!
First and foremost, before anything else, it would be a good idea to seperate paragraphs with two returns instead of one.

Like this.

See? Makes things more organized if your paragraphing is by two instead of one.
