Does anyone here play NFS Most Wanted? I play it on PS2, and I got it on my bday, Oct 2.
I JUST beat

, and it took numerous attempts trying to beat her, but it all finally paid off. I got her car,
Mercedes
. I installed the new engine(Super Pro) and I finished all the race events. I JUST figured out which button is the actual HELPFUL nitrous, L1, not R2.... I've been trying to get a lot more bounty, but I only get 200 -5000 each pursuit.. One time, I was on the 1st level of heat, I stalled with the police for a 7 min Milestone. My heat went up to 4, and then they sent the
coppers and the SUV's
, and I got busted...
I'LL PREVAIL!!!
Well, NFSMW players, where are you in the game? Have any methods to deal with police?

, the show off. OMG I got his
Gallardo
, and DANG I beat that??? With a Mercedes??? I had no idea HOW I beat him, cause his Gallardo had almost Max stats, and my
Mercedes
was about 3/4 of what he had. And I mean 3/4, and I still beat him. Then I found out that his Gallardo only had Dry Shot of Nitrous at first, and so now there's Direct Port Nitrous, so it got even better. All I did was beat one race event, and I stopped. I've been playing for 2 hrs! And plus, my eyes started hurting, so I went on the computer to share my fun story about what happened in front of the TV. I also got a $50,000 bonus marker, so I have $57,000 now, all to be used up on SOMETHING...
So... I'll do my homework now, seeing it's 9:35 PM, and plus, I'm bored. And my mom's coming back in an hr... *sigh*

oh it is good no amtter you play it on gamecube or playstation or xbox (not sure they make it for this) the cars are nice the cops are actually tough there amynot be as many car mods but there are a lot of cars including 1 and only one BMW M3 GTR (its the reason for story mode in the game)

The McLaren SLR is an amazing chase car. Well, atleast mine is. Especially when you crash and there's one police car in your front and one in your side. Doing the James Bond spin is so easy with the SLR (reversing, turning, accelerating away)

I just finished NFS Carbon (so short?) and have decided to try and beat Most Wanted again, using only the Fiat Punto. Did it once before, managed to max it out prior to Ming (gotta love junkman parts)

Yeah I love going in the Stadium, and plus, they have a cooldown area in there. NFS Carbon is OUT? I thought it was coming out Nov 17 (3 days later)... What's it about? Or is it just a bunch of pointless races?
Ah great. A spoiler... Ah at least you helped me, thanks for that! But I mean, Corvettes!? Don't they come after like the 4th Blacklist member? Whoever that is. When I was in 4lvl heat, I was just WATCHING my heat, and it just never went up... That, or it just barely moved up. I'm just trying to beat that Milestone where you have to get past this speed limit, and it gives you a fair amount of bounty if you successfully do it. It seems easy, but it's too hard if there's bunches of traffic in your way.
I hate Speedtrap races. They're annoying, and hard... I just like Sprints, they're too easy. Drags are frustrating, with heavy traffic of course.

I've never drifted in Manual Mode. I was frustrated when I accidentally changed the game play to Manual. I was facing Earl at the time, and I was like what the heck?
Usually when I drift, I first let go of the gas pedal, or else you'll be heading right into the wall, front first. That'd end up in a complete stop. So just let go of the gas pedal.
2) Right when I'm in the direction I want to be in, I step on the gas pedal and bring up the nitrous. I never hold on to the nitrous, cuz you're going TOO fast if you're using it for too long, your car engine can't keep up at the acceleration rate you're going it, hopefully you know what I mean.
What I DO hate is a car gets the sides on the rear of your car, and you lose control of the car. I HATE it when that happens! They just slow down a bit, and start ramming at the sides of your car in the back, and then you go out of control. GAHHH ouiiy!
I also learned, never press Select during a police pursuit. For me, that's an automatic BUSTED. Even if you have all this space around you, even if you're stepping on the pedal and the nitro, you're busted if you ever press SELECT during a police pursuit.

I almost got the chance to play because my mom went away, but she came back in a like 5 minutes, so I couldn't... And plus, I had a bit too much hw today
How long did it take you to finish the game???
And question about the scence while the game is loading. As in, once you turn it on, them Mia talks about safety driving, and then the thing after that.
As I recall, Mia has a red Rx-8, or no? Cuz in the video, I think that's an RX-8 ur racing with, but Izzy has RX-8, but I think hers is silver, right? My question was who are you racing? Anybody know?

I have this game. I just complete blacklist number 10 and I got his car.

*SPOILER ALERT* I know some control stick thingy to do at the title screen to unlock stuff. I forgot what you get from the cheat, but one of them is the Burger King Challenge while the other is the cheat for a Ford GT with super awsome stats. Here is cheats I know so far:

Cheat 1:
Tilt control stick up, down, up down, left, right, left, right

Cheat 2:
Tilt control stick left, right, left, right, up, down, up, down

There are more cheats in the game that I do not know.

I got his Corvette C6, but why is its Top Speed lower than Gallardo's? Is Gallardo better? Well, I'm keeping it. It's good enough for me.
Now I'm facing JV, who seems sorta hard, sorta easy. That always happens, but I dont know how fast a Viper is, so yea.
QUESTION: How do you get to the bonus cars? I can't find them anywhere...

Actually NFS the series is a bunch of pointless races silly :p

Carbon is a sequal to NFS:MW, it also gives you 10,000 dollars ingame, when you start a carer(sp) off the bat, if you have a previous saved game of a NFS game. Theory I have is 10,000 for every saved file but I only have NFS:MW.

And I was stupid and wasted 90000 bucks on suuping up one car D: and the races went from being 7500 to 500 :/

anyways you have to do like the blacklist, only by taking out territories, rival crews, and then taking out the head 'master' so to speak of one territory.

And the challenge series is harder :/ damn mustangs. If you think a car is hard to controll in NFS with getting bumped- but never happened to me as I'm usually to fast to get bumped, you ARE NOT going to like some of the challenges, or the cars, as the muscle cars are easy to lose controll of.

But it's easier to drift with them. Go figure.

And Magne, I wanted to know, can I borrow the second banner in your sig? Please?

Do you think Carbon is better, or NFS Most Wanted. I'll choose NFSMW, because I've heard Carbon was one of the shortest NFS games EVER. So NFSMW!
But Carbon has Skyline, my fav car, but I guess M3 is pretty cool too... (We have one too)
I still need to find out the locatin of the bonus cars however...

Bonus cars are unlocked by winning ticket things, it seems. And no Carbon isn't short. Well, if you're smart. And don't waste a hundred grand on a car. That's easily outclassed by the first boss :x and it's hard getting new money :/ just thinking of restarting tbh, makes NFS look easier really.

In ways it's easier in Carbon, but harder. Very hard.

But to be honest, I like both games.

Carbon just frustrates me more. Even if you can do what you can't in NFS:MW ie: Drive with no tires, reset and etc.

Just ... damage accumulates and well D: one car litterally went BOOM .. alright the engine just gave out but you get the drift. But NFS:MW is easier as it's well, easier to find pursuit breakers, and easier to get most. There's two that, unless you come in at a WTF ANGLE you kinda die. Well crash.

And then die.

And thanks, I'll give cred, don't worry.

Tickets? Like the Challenge Series? I haven't even done that yet.

Nice drifting guide, Latios. I'll have to try the techniques in my NFSU2.

Anyway, I've never played Most Wanted, but it seems pretty similar to the Underground games from what I can gather, which is good. I can sit and customise cars for ages.

But I have to say that my favourite racing series is Gran Turismo. They're a lot more realistic than the newer NFS games. Than again, I don't think that the NFS games are designed for realism.
