I have played played platinum and now playing white and decided that I want to play competitively in OU. This is my current party. Can you please help me improve it?

Volcanora @ Chest Berry :637:
Ability: Flame Body (Burns foe on contact)
EVs: sp.atk 252/ spd 252/ hp 4
Nature: bold [+defence -attack]
- Rest
- Quiver Dance
- Flamethrower
- Bug Buzz

The idea behind the bold nature is that since it already has good sp. def. I wanted to raise the defence to make it last longer. and then attempt a sweep. I can always restchesto

Dragonite @ Life Orb
Ability: MULTISCALE (OPPONENTS MOVES DO LESS DAMAGE WHEN HP IS FULL)
EVs: atk 252/ spd 252/ hp 4
Nature: Adament [+ atk -sp.atk]
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Aqua Tail
- Extreme Speed

This is my physical sweeper. I set up w/Dragon Dance and sweep. I chose Dragonite over Salamence because one, Salamence is uber and two, it is more bulky so it can survive a few hits.

Gengar @ Life Orb ;094;
Ability: Levitate (ground type moves don't hit)
EVs: sp. atk. 252/ spd 252/ hp 4
Nature: Timid [+ spd -atk]
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
- ? (can't do any hidden powers)

This is another special sweeper. Shadow Ball for a strong ghost type move. Thunderbolt to get rid of bulky waters. Focus Blast to KO normal types. Ice beam because I don't have an ice type in my party.

Metagross @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body (prevents stat reduction)
EVs: atk 252/ hp 252/ def. 4
Nature: Adamant [+ atk -sp. atk]
-Bullet Punch
-Zen Headbutt
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock

A lead w/ Stealth Rock?. It has good defence but can bring down pokemon. Meteor mash and zen headbutt for STAB. And I need earthquake to take care of electric fire and steel types.

Lucario @ Life Orb ;448;
Ability: Inner Focus (prevents flinching)
EVs: sp. atk 252/ spd 252/ hp 4
Nature: Modest [+ sp. atk. -atk]
- Aura Sphere
- Flash Cannon
- Water Pulse
- Nasty Plot

This is another psychical sweeper. Water Pulse to take care of ground and fire types so my real threat is fighting types.

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronise (when status is affected so is the opponents)
EVs: hp 252/ sp. def. 128/ def. 128/
Nature: Bold [+ def - atk]
-Substitute
-Baton Pass
-Wish
-Payback
This is my wall. Substitute => Baton Pass to get substitutes on other pokemon. Wish to heal itself. Yawn to neutralize opponents. I wondering if I should use another mixed wall.

This is my current party. I'm wondering if I should change anything. I'm fine with re-traning/eving new pokemon.

EDIT: I also want my party to incorporate as many types as possible.
Also, How do you put a strike/ line through word? I tried => [strike][/strike]

Your Umbreon will be Taunted, you need at least one attack.

How about Faint Attack instead of yawn?

I would go with TM66 Payback, most cases you will go after your opponent with Umbreon so the BP will be doubled to 100.

I'm also wondering if I should improve any other pokemon? Because I think my metagross should be lead but I'm not sure

I would give Dragonite Multi Scale, it gives him the oppurtunity to turn in on an attack and then Dargon Dance once and hopefully outspeed its competition.

I don't think dream world is available for canada yet and multiscale is only for dream world dragonite.

EDIT: OR can someone trade me an un-used dratini, dragonair or dragonite with an adament nature and the ability multiscale? I have... nothing good to trade.

Fail, I just read that game sync is out.

What do supports do?

Pooh Bear Squared

Beginnin' Trainuh
Examples of support pokemon would be Vaporeon, Forettress, Skarmory or Blissey.

Support pokemon are generally sturdy pokemon who's primary goal is not to deal damage to the opponent. For example, Vaporeon supports it's team by passing Wishes to team mates, healing them, as well as countering threats such as Gyarados and Infernape.
Blissey is a Special Wall which can either spread Toxic or pass Wishes like Vappy.
Skarmory and Forretress are both support pokemon as they specialise in setting up entry hazards such as Spikes / Toxic Spikes or Stealth Rock.
The role of the support differs from pokemon to pokemon.

Also, last time I checked, Gengar doesn't learn Ice Beam. If you want an Ice move then you'll have to change that to Hidden Power Ice.
It seems like you are using Dragonite like a worse Salamence, as I believe in 5th Gen Salamence is once again OU, however don't quote me on that, as I haven't seen a full on tier list myself yet :/

You say Lucario is a physical sweeper, yet it has all Special Moves? Typo? Lucario does a much better as a Physical sweeper anyhow, the standard Swords Dance set is good, however with more and more Gliscor usage due to his gain of the ability Poison Heal, you may have a rough time using Lucario.

Hope I helped :)

switch volcaronas nature to modest or timid or keep bold and make it a bulky restochesto quiver dancing one and take off silver wind -_-

get a multiscale dragonite

use Timid nature on gengar and btw he doesnt get Ice Beam.....

use 252 HP / 252 Att / 4 w/e on metagross, stealth rock over explosion, and bullet punch over zen headbutt

Switch lucarios nature to Timid and use: Nasty Plot/ Aura Sphere / Vacuum Wave / Dark Pulse

umbreon sucks, switch for vaporeon. if ur gunna keep him switch 252 EV's into HP

Yeah it was typo. It was a special sweeper.

Should I replace umbreon with this rotom:

Rotom @ Leftovers
EVs: HP 252/ sp.def 128/ def 128
Nature: Calm [+ sp. def -atk]
-Thunderbolt
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Substitute

To replace umbreon because this only has one weakness, pretty high sp. def and def, and enough sp. atk to KO some threat.

I think this is the team I want. You can give suggestions in moves but I want to keep these natures, pokemon And abilities. Thank you guys for helping me make my first competitive team!

Should I replace lucario w/ breloom. Lucario is amazing but breloom can cripple with spore and has amazing attack. With the ability poison heal, I can give it a toxic orb to heal 12.5% hp every turn as aposed to leftovers which heals 6.25%of its hp.

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal (heals you when you are poisoned)
EVs: atk 252/ hp 252/ spd 4
Nature: Adament [+ atk -sp.atk]
- Sword Dance
- Spore
- Focus Punch
- Substitute

Should I replace Sword Dance with Leech Seed or is Toxic orb enough to heal Breloom? Also should I replace Spore for hidden Power Grass for STAB?
/\
I
Change my mind. I can already counter ground, rock and water so don't need hidden power grass.
