Bonsly is Pimp
Ive been playing pokemon for how long now, like 8 years maybe. When the IVs and EVs and what not came out it got really confusing. Ive read all the articles in the game mechanics section of the website, but im still a little confused. So enough talk, this is whats confusing me.

What is the point of Baton Pass?

How do i get so many leftovers, use the itemfinder under snorlax?

Do natures effect i your pokemon if you dont EV train?

If someone could explain EVs in a diferent way I'd be greatfull.

well you could help a guy out, or blow me off and call me a noob. Thank you to those with hearts in advance.

1. If you use stat-boosting moves like Swords Dance, use Baton Pass to switch pokes. The new poke' gets the stat increase too.

2. Yes, natures do effect them even if you don't EV train.

hmmm ev's in another way... well have you ever played trivial pursuit with those lil pie/pie-pieces. well... your pokemon and it's stats are one of those pies..... and the pie-pieces are the different ev's. You can only get so much on your pokemon and the ones you do get give it a more noticible difference in the pokemon's stats.
Baton pass gives the pokemon that you switch out the special stat adjustments that the pokemon that uses it has:
I.e. defense curl, howl, swords dance, dragon dance, etc.
Natures do affect your pokemon. there should be a chart around the site somewhere. Each nature Raises (multiplies it's normal stat gain by 1.1) and lowers (multiplies stat gain by 0.9) a stat of your pokemon.
I'm not sure one the leftovers thing.

1.Baton pass lets you keep the stat increases from the prevousi pokemon, ie nijask uses sword dance then baton passes, the next pokemon has the sword dance boost.
2.Yes thats how you get leftover
3. Yes natures do affect evs if you refuse to EV train
4. BAsiclly evs are points that can incerease the stats of a pokemon. Your pokemon has the ability to take in 510 EV points, for example if you want lots of hp on your pokemon you should battle loads of whismur. Upon next level up the hp will be higher.

Hope i helped.
