Need some serious spriting help, professional spriters only

ive got a problem, im trying to animate and i dont know where to animate and i cant download gimp because it wont download, there are always errors, so anyway I do this thing called gamemaker 6.0 and when i make a game it allows the sprites to be animated so i made my sprites on paint and copied them onto it and it worked so i then loaded it onto photobucket but it only did the animation thing once, it looped in the gamemaker but not anywhere else, ive asked many people for help, but everyone i asked has failed, all i ask is to find a place where i can properly animate, thankyou in advance
