NeoQuest III, A Neopet RPG (Sign ups!)

One day when I was taking a walk a came across an idea for a RPG. Basing it as a fake third NeoQuest game. The two original NeoQuest games are at Neopets.com.

Anyways, NeoQuest III like it's counterparts is a Dungeons and Dragons like Neopet RPG.

Once there was a wise king of Meridell called King Lupine. Lupine had ruled over the land peacefully for so many years that the townspeople thought that he would never die or that war would never come. This was untrue as Lupine would find out.

The interior of Meridell Castle was stony and warm. Marvelous tapestries framed the walls. King Lupine himself sat upon a majestic thrown.

Lupine was a royal Lupe, a wolf-like creature. His royal robes seemed to flow like water down his thrown. His fur was grey with age and his paw patted his beard. Lupine’s black eyes looked down his chin to his magician.

Rahon was a Nimmo, a frog-like creature. His pointed hat tipped over comically as he looked up at his king. “My king,” the Nimmo began. “I have news that several warlords have decided to band together against you.”

The king blinked. “Why would they do that?” he bellowed. “I do not know,” Rahon replied. “But I have sent out a heralds for young peasants to fight with you.”

Lupine gritted his teeth. “And you said nothing to me?!”the king roared. “But that can’t be helped, I suppose. I do need recruits.” Rohan looked to the ground. “There is more,” he said slowly.”

“What is it?” Lupine asked, dreading the answer. “It is that many monsters have taken up residence in mines and fields. That and several dark wizards took it in mind to help the warlords,” answered the king’s magician.

Lupine sighed and slumped in his thrown. “Are the peasants coming soon?” The magician nodded. “Then we shall have to wait and see what happens.”

Description: At least a three sentence paragraph. If you are too lazy, post a picture of your species and color.
History: At least a four sentence paragraph. And this includes personality, too.
Favorite Weapon: What weapon you favor. Keep it midevil, please. Exe.: Sword, bow, ect. This way I know what to give you when you start.

My example:

Name: Meg
Species: Gelert
Age: 16 years
Gender: Female
Color: Blue
Description: Meg is a regular looking blue Gelert. Her fur is slightly greenish, though. There is a hole through her left ear. Meg’s left paw looks more blue then the rest of her.
History: Being born on a farm in east Meridell, Meg grew up helping her mother with her younger siblings. She was the oldest and thus was responsible to protect her siblings. Meg’s father had died in a cart accident a few years ago and Meg has never got past that. The reason why she went to Meridell to fight was that her father’s death had made a whole in her life and she wanted to regain a since of purpose once again. These events molded Meg into a responsible yet tough young Gelert.
Favorite Weapon: None, Meg has never had a favorite weapon.

I wish to have a fun time with this and make this into a great RPG. I will control the warlords, bosses, and King Lupine along with Meg.

The co-owner is Tauros Rider2. He controls some of the warlords and such.

I plan to have the RPG thread up after Christmas.

Not too bad. Accepted! You are now the co-runner A.K.A. the co-owner of NeoQuest III. You have control of some of the warlords and bosses. Plus, if I'm not here, you can control who gets accepted. Though, the final call is up to me as owner. Enjoy. =)

Her pupils love her friendly personality and interesting teaching style, but she does expect them to work hard.
Prefered weapon: Staff (how else well she cast a spell?)

Good but as my co-owner said, make the description longer. Or you could post a picture of a blue Aisha. Both works.

Here, i've drawn up a type chart:

Air beats Earth (but not vice versa); Light can beat Air when in the form of electricity
Water beats Fire (but Fire can beat Water when Water is frozen) Fire also beats Earth.
Light beats Dark (but not vice versa)

Name: Serenade
Species: Eyrie
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Color: Maraquan or Island wouldn't work, so I'll go with Purple.

Description: Serenade usually wears a basic brown tunic made of a tough kind of bark from a tree and that has a small leaf stiched into the tunic right where her left shoulder would be. She also always carries a brown straw hat from the Mystery Island with her. No matter where she goes, she is never seen without that same straw hat and the brown tunic. Why does she always carry it with her? Perhaps it has something to do with history...

History: Serenade is an Eyrie that used to live in a remote island that was far away from the mainland. The island used to be a peaceful place, with a towering volcano that overlooked the small island town where Serenade spent her early years at. The people of the island were skilled at their arts and craft, so they made many things from the Island's resources.

She had a brother who knew how to make things out of the island's plants and trees, so he made her a basic brown tunic made out of the thick bark from a tree, sewn a small leaf from the same tree onto the tunic, carved out a bow for her to defend herself with, and made her a brown straw hat, for that island was almost always sunny, and given her strange purple color that she had been born with, she had to carry it with her everywhere she went. In fact, it's so sunny that a storm only came around once per five months.

However, one day, the volcano erupted with a force so powerful that it pratically melted the island community, and as she was fleeing, she saw her brother trapped under a wooden wall that had collasped due to the earthquakes that followed the eruption. As the ash covered the sky and the lava began sliding towards the village, she tried to free her brother any way she could, until her brother told her to go leave him here since there's no hope even if he survived, and to flee from the island and find another place to live.

Serenade refused to go, but her parents grabbed her and flew off with her as she looked at her brother through the ash clouds until she could see him no more...

A while later, she had reached the mainland with her parents, but then a gang of Bearogs attacked, and since her parents had never seen Bearogs before, they had a tough time fighting them, and her parents told her to leave, just like her brother did. Again, like she did to her brother, she flew off and looked back at her parents until they could be seen no more...

Ever since those events, she had been living and traveling throughout the lands, eating anything she deemed to be safe to eat, and since she almost never had anyone to help her around anymore, she is usually sad and bitter at times, but when she remembers the events before the volcano erupted, she is suddenly cheerful for a small moment before becoming moody again.

(I know, I think I went too far, if you think that this is unacceptable due to the RPG conditions like the region and such, then I'll go change it. Otherwise, I'll just stay with this.)

Favorite Weapon: Her favorite weapon is her bow and arrows, the same bow and arrows that her brother had created for her all those years ago.

Wait, so we're talking about elemental magic now? Like in the NQ games, there were elemental attacks... What if we can have our weapons do elemental damage like in the BattleDome? I mean, not at the beginning, but later on.

If we do let our weapons do elemental damage, then we'll have to put a limit on how many elements a weapon has or something like that. Otherwise, a weapon imbued with all of the elements would be too powerful.
