i dont know if this is the right forum to ask in but, is anyone else having trouble connecting to netbattle?

Yes, me. It's been that way for a few months. Oh, and this belongs in Tech Help. Netbattle will load everywhere except my Dial-Up computer.

what exactly do you mean by 'connecting'?

Can you get up to the pick-a-server screen or whatever its called and not see anything? Thats the registry being down: happens to everyone frequently. Simply go to Advanced and type the IP of the address of the server you want on.

Or is this something else, ie an error message when tyou try to open the program?

its the connecting to the registry


it says error 10060 occurred: The operation timed out


i dont know the addresses of any of the servers with people on them

and when i click on advanced and check server browser it just tries connecting to a server


and WHY when i try to go to tvsian.com does THIS come up

its like a search engine, it says start here a6t the top

Well, SKYUPPERCUT60 has given you the best IPs. I also find the server registry is sometimes down. The good thing is though, that when Competitor comes out, the server registry will always work apparently. Yay!

I got a problem were it won't open it up.

Ive just gone back to the server list just now, and it works perfectly fine (although it didnt 10 mins ago).

And if you have a problem where the program itself wont open up (if thats what you mean) try going on Safe Mode.
