Actually I have been thinking about Latias actually being another pokemon transformed into one. But Mew is related to Goh. So there should be another pokemon.

Not really a confirmed ban but it was only used for like 5, maybe 6 episodes? Supposedly some kid saw the ending and acted like Brock and people were complaining about the incident.

There's many more pokemon in the world than the ones Gob caught.
It was not about catching but more like Goh was interacting with Pokemon far more than Ash did, so Ash was not doing the apparent Pokemon Master definition because he was busy. Ash wasn't even interacting enough with most of his own team (onscreen, allegedly).

I would sacrifice Boldore, Unfezant, Hawlucha, Tauros, Noctowl, Palpitoad, Torkoa and Pignite for an episode focusing on Primeape returning...
I'm still not sure why Ash doesn't use 5 Pokemon per episode. Also nothing was used in EP3:-( in theory there are 25 Pokemon there, with potential one or 2 being used in the squirtle one. That gives us all Pokemon in 6/7 Episodes.
