hm, you need some work on text blending, either it's overblended, or not blended much.
here's a way to blend:
I'm going to be using a 400x120 px Document.
(Any size will work.)
Since this tutorial is just for Text Blending...
I'm not going to take you through the background step.
After you're ready to apply some text to your sig...
You're ready to begin.
This Text Blending method won't work for Pixel fonts...
But any other font should be fair game.
Thicker fonts work better...
Choose your font of choice and set the color to WHITE.
This is very important, it won't work with any other color.
>_>
The other essential step is to have a Color Balance Layer.
Use whatever kind of CBLs you want.
Make sure to place the Text Layer UNDER the Color Balance Layer.
Once you've done that, right click on the Text Layer and choose Blending Options from the menu.
Check the boxes next to Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Bevel and Emboss, Gradient Overlay, and Stroke.
Now let's begin...
Here are the best settings to use...
At least, they're the ones I use the most.
Drop Shadow:
Inner Shadow:
Bevel and Emboss:
Gradient Overlay:
Stroke:
Alright...
Remember, those settings are just the ones I prefer...
You can tinker with them to your liking.
Here's the final result:
credit goes to kyle on ETC
but overall, it's pretty flippin' sweet.
