The text is really hard to read. I know transparency give text an original effect, but only when it's on a plain surface, and even then it's hard to perfect.
The background is effective, attractive, has great colours and so on. It really brings out the picture, and gives it a nice effect.
The thread effect really "relates" to the vibes of the banner.
The picture: Good size, good expression, not much I can really criticize (which is good for you, with the awful feedback I've given you

After you answer the questions, I can give you a final verdict on the overall complexity of the banner.
