In this new systen attacks will now be placed in order of Physical and Special based on the attacks themselves and not the types. So what pokemon do you excpect to improve most from the list?

I'm not listing the Big-4 as some people call them in the D/P forums though. I am basically listing pokemon who have great attack, but a type that promotes special attack STAB

Arcanine
Kingler
Gyarados
Flareon
Rapidash
Absol
Sharpedo
Crawdant

Sorry I put this here I think it belongs in the poll.

Absol is seriously gonna improve. I mean faint attack will be physical! Too bad shadow ball will become special.

Shame Sneasel isn't on the list, she's laughing cause she can finally use STAB with Physical Ice Punch and Faint Attack. ;D

Out of the list, Absol is the only one sticking out... simply because i've raised one and with STABed Bite it'll be laughing as well. *likes the flinch effect*

Weavile makes a good round too, seeing as he knows Sharp Claw, which to me, would be physical, and a Dark-type attack, so super ownage there.

I agree, But crawdnaut, sharpedo and Kingler win.

Gengar wins with shadow ball. Plus Shadow Ball can lower sp.def....

Kingler with Crabhammer ftw. I always liked Kingler. It's a shame Pokemon will die with the end of the 3rd Generation...

No offense to those of you who actually like f*cked up gay *ss sh*t. =/
I don't really agree... I mean honestly the thing is that the new battle system revives just as many pokemon as it kills. The only people who really do believe what you say are probably jusy doing so because they can't adapt to the rapid change

^whatever...horn drill is right...this change is stupid

If overheat becomes some sort of physical attack. Because it makes contact, then Flareon and Blaziken win. No questions ask

I think Crawdaunt will improve the most. The only reason it will improve more than kingler is because it gets STABed crunch. Pair that with crabhammer, swords dance, and ancientpower, and you are good to go.

No, the change is idiotic. Yay we made 50 Pokémon better in exchange for keeping 20 the same and killing the other 316.

Crawdaunt, I suppose. It always did have Base 120 Attack, and now it gets STAB worth using.

Ahahaha. Paranoia. Ain't it lovely? :)

Fighting Pokés can now use the Elemental Punches to a very good extent, and while Hyper Beam is still bad regardless of the spectrum shift, it's going to be useful in Special-based Normals like Clefable. :D

Why those? Because those are the ONLY Moves confirmed to change so far. But whinning and complaining without any basis and in function of what the 3rd Generation has is so mature and big... :)

So... Raising up Mightyena and Butterfree in exchange for Alakazam and Sceptile? Sounds great!!! 8)

I can adapt to any change! My new 4th Gen Mightyena is going to pwn all of you!!!

Still, I suppose Venomoth might improve some. I always liked Venomoth. It'll still suck though.

Jolteon is the singlehandedly best Psychic Counter in the game besides maybe Gengar, Garde, and Zam themselves. Shadow Ball from a Base 130 for those who don't Understand why.

Aerodactyl will Counter psychics also with Bite, lol.

Electrode might see more play if Boom becomes Special.

Fighting Types, esp. machamp and blaziken, will become great with the elemental punches.
Kingler/Crawdaunt/Gyarados become better due to STAB'ed crabhammer and waterfall.
Weavile will get some use, as it will be able to use its STAB effectively.

Horn Drill, before you insult the new metagame, why not try it out first? You say alakazam will be ruined, but it now gains shadow ball, and probably some new 4th gen moves.

The reason why Sneasel isn't on the list is because the majority of people who like it will use it's evolved form and that really means that Waevile improves, but since it isn't in the 3rd generation...

Sorry I was just thinking like that.
I'll be using Sneasel no matter what though, cause i'm addicted/use favourites over power. ;D

Salamance with STABed Dragon Claw, anyone? *sees people with flamethrowers*

Freakshow

Jibaku
Medicham with the Elemental Punches
The Crabhammer Duos
Gengar
Salamence
Gyarados
Electrode
Selfdestruct Mewtwo
...all I can think of now.
