New Boss Ideas

HarleyScarow

Emerald Shinigami
Well here you can make up some Gym Leaders AND some bad guy bosses that you think will appear in Diamond and Pearl. I would rather that you make bad guy bosses because they have that much more character inside of them and it would be a good idea if they appeared more often than rather having to battle the regular Gym Leaders, which have little emotion and are usually just the regular come and go. Some good example of cool boss ideas may be the Cipher Admins of Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness, since that acted somewhat of a magnet to their upgoing personality.

Here's the format of how you do this:
1. Give the name of the boss (If it's a Gym Leader, then tell us what badge and TM that they would give or if it's a bad buy boss, tell us what role would they play in the story).
2. Show their personality and if you want to, you could also tell how they dress and think.
3. Make a list of the Pokémon that they would use. You can use the 386 that already exist, the featured Pokémon in Diamond and Pearl, and even make up your own Pokémon on the spot if you need to!

Rules of this thread:
1. Follow the regular SerebiiForums rules, even though I shouldn't have to say this since they are all reasonable and easy to follow anyways.
2. If you're going to be telling the members here how you feel about their creations, make your own as well so that it won't be SPAM. Don't make fun of other creations or else.
3. Be original with your ideas and make sure that they're realistic enough to be characters but not to normal that they would blend in to the everyday overworld sprites.

Have fun, people and peoples! HarleyScarow!

I think that this game has mostly steel pokemons, I don't know why. So:

Boss of Team Stealth, Raimond.

He's trying to catch the powerful Fighting/Steel-Type legendary pokemon, Rukario.
He leads the most evil team in the region, he has grunts who use Steel and Fighting pokemons.
His team that he will use against you is: Steelix, Aggron, Machamp, Skarmory, Rukario[clone of the real one] and [a new fighting type].

Deoxys Prime

Time will tell.
Your Rival/final battle of entire game battle.

He stole all of the starters from the proffessor, the professor had 3 more starters so you could get yours.

I'll go with a gym leader, Azure. He's a water/ice trainer and a zenful, relaxed person in general. When you defeat him you get the HM Waterfall, TM Water Pulse, and the Nirvana(meaning peace) badge.

Team:
Ice Noob-33
Kingler-33
Water noob-36

You don't have to write noob in the thing. You can put your own made-up Pokémon there instead. Here's an example (I decided to use Harley because he's in my ContestShipping and he is also the big boss of the organization that I made, Scarow):

Scarow King Harley
Cacturne Lv 60, Banette Lv 60, Ariados Lv 57, Octillery Lv 57, Rafflsite Lv 59, Raggibo Lv 58

The new Pokémon that you see there are in my ContestShipping. All you have to do is give some info, like:
1. Their appearence
2. Attacks they would know
3. PokéDex data.

Rafflsite is a parasite Pokémon with large purple petals and a face in the middle that looks emotionless, with red spots all over them; vines and leaves that seemed poisoned scattered around it. It knows Life Drain, Bitter Scent, Ground Viner, and Multi-Petal Blaster. It is also known to drain the energy of living things around it for up to a mile away.

Raggibo is a Raggi Bird of Paradise, with sharp wings and a tail three times as large as its body, and wings so colorful that they could hypnotize. It knows Lefting Regeneration, Dark Ace, Berry Blast, and Berry Magnet. It is known to steal the food from living things around it after it gets the trust of another person by the astonishing beauty of its wings.

If you want an example of what I mean, since I'm show and not tell, you can go and read my ContestShipping FanFiction here. Tell me your opinions on it, okay peoples?

Gym Leader Amber
Speciality-Grass (Amber being found in trees and all names having a play on type)
Attitude-Carefree but Nononsence. Will crack down on anyone harming trees/plants.
First Met-You first meet Amber when she easily battles of Team Vine Grunts who are attempting to cut down trees in a sacred forest looking for a legendary pokemon that protects the town. (Not Celebi) Nobody has seen it but it has been known for it to send a mist whenever the town is in trouble.
Gym Number-8(last before elite 4)

Pokemon:
;189; Giga Drain,Leech Seed,Sunny Day, Solar Beam/Synthesis/Stun Spore
;114; Solarbeam,Slam,Poison Powder, Ingrain
New Grass Poke Solarbeam,Rain Dance(incase of fire),Sleep Powder,New/Filler move(maybe a rock/ground/water move as by this point in the game only specialists will have more than one fire type)
;286; Solarbeam,Dynamic Punch,Mind Reader,Shock Wave
;103; Solarbeam,Psycic,Egg Bomb,Sunny Day
;071; Sludge Bomb,Solarbeam,Toxic,Leech Seed(I know unavailable ingame without cheat devices but I want that to change)

Tactic she uses-Set up sunny day. Then Wittle health down with leach seed and giga drain. Sythesis for healing or stun spore for paralysis or solarbeam to take advantage of sunny day.
Basically a sunnyday+solarbeam combo until the new one.
Tm win:Solarbeam

Not a bad guy nor a gym leader, but a boss nonetheless. It requires some explanation though:

So the bad team will try to impress you into their forces, making you wear their uniform wherever you go. Policemen confront you wherever you go, challenging you to mandatory battles. As you defeat them, the police get notice of you, capture you, and make you fight the heads of the enterprise. This leads us to the boss:

Head Officer Don uses a well-crafted team of canine and Fighting Pokemon. He's quite a doozy to battle, so make sure your Pokemon are healed and you're at your prime in thought. After the battle, you explain your situation to him and he absolves the charges against you.

Maybe when you atart, you can be the antagonist instead of the protagonist?

I doubt it. Pokemon has always been geared toward children, and I doubt that they'll ever have an option to be evil in the games.

You know what would be cool? More options, like ones that affect the game's storyline. Yeah, that'd be fun. Oh, sorry to drag us off-topic.

It's not a Gym Leader or a leader of Team Whatever, but I would be highly amused with a side quest involving a corrupt, arrogant, cigar-chomping CEO of a major company like Silph or Devon. Your character would inadvertently catch him partaking in some massive act of white-collar crime, immediately leading to a battle. He'd use a mix of Pokemon like Granbull and Delcatty that reflect an overall theme of wealth and pomposity. Of course when you win (as the battle isn't particularly difficult,) he's eventually exposed to the public and hauled off by the police, then you get rewarded with some rare item from the company so you can move on.

But D/P will be targeted for the kids, and they're too young to care about this kind of stuff, so something like this happening is practically impossible. Oh well, at least I can dream.

I guess you are right. Well, the bad guy can be the main part of the game, instead of something like the Elite 4, the organization can be important.

Cursed

Heroic Sociopath
1. Elite four/Team ___ Boss Charles
2. He can easily go beserk if beaten.
3. His team would consist of all three starters' final forms and the legendary trio of D/P

Other note: Once you beat him in the Pokemon League, he has Team ___ attack the entire league and cut off all communications between the region and all others. If you beat him after he reveals his identity, he sees the error of his ways and releases the legendary trio of D/P.

He could be buying out all the Pokemarts, stocking them with expensive, phony versions of the products. That way you could only get Potions and Pokeballs from a ramshackle Pokemart out on some remote route where a bunch of trainers are congregating for these supplies.

Another boss that'd be neat and a bit quirky to see is some legendary Pokemon acting as a trainer (by no means is it actually one), but it would be an intelligent and formidable opponent, utilizing Pokemon from all over the world. It would ambush you every so often on a lonely route after you acquire the National Dex, and you would have the option of running from it, though it would be exceedingly hard. Once you defeat this Pokemon like 4-5 times, you would engage in direct battle with it, whereby you need to catch it then in order to acquire it.
