New closing theme - "I will not lose! Haruka's Theme"

I was just randomly browsing a few pokémon sites when I stumbled across a report on Filb, which states that Pokéani has uncovered information on a new ending theme that is set to begin with the next week's episode of Advanced Generation, "Sudowoodo! The Legend of Gold!"
Some who have already watched episodes such as 'The Red Lightning's Skyscraper' and the recent pokémon contest are more than familliar with this particular song. Of course, it's the mysterious song that goes by the name of "I will not lose! Haruka's Theme", performed by May's japanese voice actress, KAORI.

Of course, I can't read japanese myself, so I can't really check Pokéani to see if it's posted there. But I trust that the infomation is legit, and it's inevitable that someone else will be checking shortly after I post this anyway. So any confirmation would be appreciated~

Belated April Fools!

*cough* Gosh, I hope it's true. Glory Day's not really that good in the first place, and the only visual in the new version I like is the part with the moon. Weirdly enough, I like the May song and hope it gets the honor of visuals.


EDIT: Where I have "true," I originally said "a new theme", which makes it sound like I don't like the song! :O So, yes, I had to point out the change there. ^^

Well, it probably means that "Spurt!" and the new ending will be released on CD together, which I'm very happy about. Although I like Haruka's Theme, it would have been nice if it had been a brand new song IMO. I don't know, but playing it as BGM beforehand spoilt the whole thing a little bit.

Oh well, can't wait to see the video for this!

If this is true, I'm sure A LOT of people on these boards will be happy. They've wanted Glory Days to die ever since it came back for the Battle Frontier.

Anywhays, I'm pretty sure I know which song you're talking about, and I did find it quite catchy. For it to be the new Ending would be a nice change, as we've never had a May-centric Ending before [hey, if Brock gets one...]

It being Haruka's Theme, I'm sure there will be plenty of fan service in it for those lovable fan boys. Hopefully this is true 0_0

Oh, and the only Japanese I know is 'kawaii' and 'irasshaimase'. Lololol D:

I really, really, hope this is true. I've never liked Glory Day, and now that it's been used for such a long time, I'm just sick of it. Right now, I feel like any change would be a good one... and I like the idea of a Haruka-themed song. I haven't heard it yet, but now I'm tempted to watch the Skyscraper epi just so I can.

If it's not true, well, I just hope they get a new song soon. It'd be long overdue.

If there are new images during the closing, here's hoping for new beach/swimsuit shots! It doesn't have to be just for May, but Ash and the others could be in bathing suits too!

Quite fitting since there's the upcoming movie where May gets a decent role if I do say so myself =D

The openings and endings have such a great animation and theme to boot so I'm really looking forward to see what this ending contains.

From what I recall, the song is relatively fast-paced, isn't it? (I no longer have the Red Inazuma episode) It needs some quality footage to go along with it. One of the things I hate about Glory Day is that it's nothing but Ash and Pikachu walking and sitting, with footage from the episode that just ended that I really don't care about because, well...I just watched it!

I've always suspected that it was going to used as an ending theme, but the fact that it is, as SS pointed out, fast paced is what threw me off the scent. Usually the ending themes are quite slow and relaxing. And while we have had some pretty speedy songs in the past, they've always been intentionally zany (Polka O Dolka) or just all out happy-happy (Pokettari, Monsutari). Haruka's theme on the other hand is really energetic, with the sort of music you'd expect to be used for an opening. It's still got that sort of endingy feel to it, but not quite as much as anything used in the past. But hey, it's not that I think it's a bad idea or anything, because it's actually a decent tune. Just somewhat strange is all.

ANYTHING beats Glory Day at this point. And I've been waiting for an ending theme centered around Haruka and her pokémon since AG first began. And it only took 'em about 4 and a half years to get it done!
I know everyone wants their fanservice, so I'm all for that. But I'm also looking forward to any decent scenes with her featured alongside her pokémon. With the pace of the song itself, I'm expecting some awesome Combusken stuff to make it's way in there~

True, I hope this new closing theme doesn't show clips from the actual episode. That's so friggin boring, they shouldn't make that same mistake again.

All new animation centered around May (and I guess the others) would be ideal, as well as her Pokemon running around aimlessly like the little balls of cute that they are.

Really? Somehow I completely missed that. But I just went back and watched and it seems like a pretty catchy song. It's kinda hard to hear it over all the yelling though, so I'll wait until it's actually used in the ending before I judge.

Can't wait to see what kind of clips they use. Since it's an upbeat song, it should be interesting... hopefully not just Haruka sitting there for the entire thing. (Even then I won't complain, I'm just happy to finally get something new.)

God, at least the hell-on-earth music that is Glory Day can say goodbye. Like folk said, if it's just clips from the ep I'll be dissapointed. And I'm sure they'll be some swimsuit action involved at some point.

I think I'll be downloading next week's episode simply for the new ending. And the golden Sudowoodo is just a nice add-on, hehehehe. Oh dear why am I laughing about a golden Sudowoodo?
