Well I think it will be clothing not Pokeblocks that determines the inital appeal or something along those lines.

The guy we were thinking might be Giovanni isnt, on Bulbapedia it says that you have the option of changing into a tuxedo before you perform. Also there is a dancing part with three pokemon backup dancers (wtf?), a part where your pokemon's appearance is judged, and a part when your pokemon's moves are judged.

Phase 2. Your Pokemon do dancing performance
Phase 3. Like phase 2 in Ru/Sa/Em, you show attacks
