New D/P Info (Proffesor, Time, Location)

Cheer up.
- The new region "Shinou" is based on the Japanese island, Hokkaido. (WPM Note: Which means the new region will look something like this, possibly rotated.)
- The new professor is named "Nanakamado."
- 90% of the Pokemon can evolve (Thanks to Boofu for translating this particular line. The translator did not want to translate it right).
- There is again a time-function in the game.
- One of Manaphy's attacks is Heart Swap (WPM note: In the Manga, Manaphy uses this ability to switch Pokemon and people's bodies. For example, it switches Ash and Ranger Jackie's body, Jesse and Meowth's body, etc.)
- The new PokeNav-type machine is located on the trainer's arm (it's like a watch).

Where exactly did you get this information?

I'm not necessarily doubting it yet as it sounds legit. But I'd like to investigate the source.

These are all new info but the CoroCoro scans Filb have posted up on his site are from the June issue which was released last month. The new issue should be dated "July 2006". I'm bummed out that there won't be any new pokemon releases in this month's issue. Oh well, there's always that Jungle tour and Pokefesta...

I find one of the new info facsinating.

What was the percentage in the previous games?

And what percentage does legendary pokemon make up in the game? I really hope we don't get only 5 legendaries out of the whole game because that would suck. :(


I did some researching on the new professor, Nanakamado.
Filb translated it to Eberesche in German which translates to Bird Berry in English. The latin term for this tree is Rowan.

Professor Rowan. Kind of have a ring to it. :D

Very Cool. But I wonder how Manaphy's attack will work in-game....sounds like fun though.
Question; who's the Pokemon battling with Bouysel against Lucario(in the first, higher screenshot)?

There's some blurry pictures of Lukario fighting on those scans.. Hard to see it, but it looks like it's fighting two (?) Buizeru.. We also see some new pictures from the field.. it's just too blurry.

OH, now I see. Buizeru is acutally using an attack, probably Double Team...it's not another Pokemon *feels stupid*

On the same site if you look at this picture it shows some stuff about the new Pokedex. Look it has two screens like the DS and appears to have something similar to the size comparison but with weight.

On the scan in this quote there's a picture of a man. Is this the new profferssor? If yes, he would have an unusual appearience for a typical Pokemon proffersor.

Argh. The pictures are too unclear :( But yes, it seems there are pics of the new Pokédex, which look quite cool to me.

The battle-pics. Lucario looks cool, and it seems to be battling two Pokémon alone? Wonder if you can do that without the fact, that your other Pokémon just fainted or something. The other one seems to be Buizeru, but the other.. Its too unclear to see, but perhaps another Buizeru.

Lucario seems to be using some kind of claw-attack or scratch on Buizeru on the lower pic.

Manaphys attack sounds cool.

It probably is Buizeru's Double Team attack. Like I mentioned, a few posts above..

Heart swap?Sounds like a good move that would really twist things.Actually it sounds like a double battle move.
