This is very intriguing. If Aipom does indeed have a D/P evolution, lets hope its actually decent. Looks like, if Ash does catch it, it won't evolve during the GF. Maybe he'll watch it this time around. ;)

Well, I guess this sorta confirms Ash gets that stupid monkey. We will find out Thursday night.

I hope it does get a D/P evolution, Aipom sucks.

Nah, I doubt Aipom will be caught and evolve into a D/P evolution. Wanna know why? I don't see any releasings of an evolution for it. Therefore, odds are very high that Aipom will not evolve into a D/P evolution, even if it is caught...yet, that is.

Does the gang travel back to where the giant Slaking was after the Grand Festival? Since it has "King" in the title that's very interesting.

I really despise Aipom for being such a weakling, for god sakes, this thing better have a D/P evolution to warrent it being captured.

Still no seal of Approval that the monkey will be captured. Could just be a befriending in the Slaking ep, and the Same Aipom takes over as king.

Although if Ash does catch the monkey, that would be the laugh of the century.

why do people think Aipom is getting caught? and if it did, that doesnt mean an evolution is to be expected, since the writers of animé know as much as us about new Pokemon, right? maybe itll just be like a throw-back, like Krabby and sorta Heracross. ohh yeh i just realised that Aipom is what flips the cards in thenew intro after pika has volt-tackled it, so....i wondered why they decided on an Aipom, maybe this is why...?

What other reason would the writers have Ash capture a Johto Pokemon, a crappy Johto Pokemon no less, especially now?

The Battle Frontier is nearly over! All Ash has left is the Pyramid and they're giving him a capture this late in the game? If Snorunt/Glalie does not ring a bell, then I don't know what will.

Some people speculated that a good way for Ash to get his first D/P Pokemon was for it to evolve from a Pokemon he already had, so this may be it.
