The real question is, will this Frontier ignore the special battle rules of it's game counterpart like the Battle Factory did?
At the moment, I'm assuming that they're
all going to have some sort of specialist battle styles between them, though the chances they'll be played out in the exact same fashion as the game is teeter-tottering between 50/50.
I mean, the factory DID have random pokémon rules in place after all, though tweaked somewhat. They just never really took it any further than an explanation though *shrug*
This time around, I guess they could impliment the '3 turns to KO opponent' thing, but convert it into some sort of time limit in each battle, having a similar set-up to how Contest Battles work. Not original by any means, but then again, we've never had Ash deal with time limits iirc. Might put him under some pressure or something, I dunno~
For the record, it would be neat if the title is actually hinting towards physical fighting techniques being used, as opposed to the beams and projectile attacks. Hand-to-hand combat makes for decent battles, and it would be a nice to have THAT as the special rule instead of time limits and what-not~
But I'm just speculating here XP;
