new game gold squad, for taking on red/ elite 4

i have gold at the moment

thanks to the cloning cheat, many of my pokemon have tm moves.

i only care about moves that do damage, apart from a few anonomus moves like double team and rest.

i am currently raising my team through the elite four, after getting all the kanto badges for badges to kick red's behind.

i don't care about competitive play or link battles, just the Elite 4.

there is a problem. i don't like bredding!!

and moves like thunderbolt are from crystal. and i don't have a link cable.

i only have a gengar, as i had a mate a while ago and we traded, and traded back.

i'll also need stadium 2 to relearn moves that you suggested.

pokemon like ampharos and pupitar havn't learned those moves yet as they arn't at the appropiate level. and as i said before, i prefer to use attack moves. not non attack moves.

Ok.I guess you don't have to worry about Rock Slide on Feraligatr then.Seeing that you also don't like stat increases/defensive moves,go with your Feraligatr set.The one I posted is the standard one.You sure you don't want to breed a Male Pikachu with a female Ampharos to get Thunderbolt?If not the use Thunderpunch.

Ok,for Gengar keep Ice Punch in there.Use Psychic over Thunderbolt I guess would work.If you can't get Hypnosis then Confuse Ray will work good too.

Well,for the relearn moves,you could redo that pokemon but I don't know if you really would want to do that.Just take it to Mt.Silver and throw a Exp.Share on it.Levels up pretty fast.

I know.I'm giving you ideas for what to teach them when they get high enough level to learn them.

Well,defensive/stat increaser moves can be really helpful at times though.The defensive/stat increasers help me out plenty of times but that's up to you to decide.Well then,throw Giga Drain and Shadow Ball over Desity Bond on Gengar.Though Density BOnd can be useful for ingame as it makes the user faint when you faint.It's your choice though.I would keep Toxic on Pidgeot as it increases damage amount over time and helps take out the pokemon faster.I guess throw Iron Tail over Light Screen since you don't like defensive moves.For Mew throw Ice Punch/Fire Punch/Thunderpunch/Blizzard/Fire Blast/Thunder over Dragonbreath.One of those moves would be nice to use there.
