Ok, I cant be the only one to think the show died after Battle Frontier. All I'm saying is to make a new show. Still pokémon but with Ash as an old wise man of some sort. I mean they are so desperate as to make a chandelier a pokémon. They could recycle the old songs, heck I'd pay to see the 1st movie in theaters again, just don't continue the madness. Whats next? A car pokémon? Or a bucket maybe? Any thoughts?

Your post doesn't make too much sense. I thought that you wanted a new show with a new protagonist at first, but then you go on ranting about the quality of new pokemon.

A show with a new protagonist isn't going to change the pokemon quality, nor does pokemon quality effect the overall quality of the anime itself. Perhaps you should clarify more.

Also, pokemon have been created with real life inspiration in mind since the first generation. ie... Ditto's just a blob of nothing. Putty.

Restarting the anime will have no effect on the quality of Pokemon designs. The anime is subordinate to the games, meaning that it follows the games, and the games aren't influenced by the anime.

Furthermore, your claims are entirely subjective. I think the newest Pokemon are among the best designs. I also think the show definitely continued to thrive even post-Battle Frontier. You can hate it all you want but it doesn't make a difference. You're uselessly asserting your opinion and nothing more.

Clarification

Ash won the Battle Frontier. Whoopee he won something, finally, after like 12 seasons l:[ Now let him retire as a frontiersman and get someone else. Wouldn't it be cool to have somebody but with the classics (like ditto). Shure some where based off of animals but it wasn't too obvious. Now we have a lame show about friendship speeches endorsed by Michael Vick. Anyone else disturbed by that?

What? Ash won the Orange Island League by defeating Drake and that was way back in Season 2 and I completely disagree that the show died after the Battle Frontier season. DP was a very enjoyable series.

Oh look at that its another "nostalgia is best, no pokez suck" user, what a surprise. Ash in DP was my favourite Ash, he wasn't kidish like in OS or BW, he was mature and this paid off by getting into the top 4 of the league, and yeah Ash won the Orange Island League in the 2nd series, and the Battle Frontier series was actually series 10, not 12. Maybe next time, try to keep your opinion as an opinion, not fact.

Yeaaah. I hated Gen 3's anime, and that's coming from the guy that says "It's Pokemon? I'll take it.", so doing this would be counterproductive.

Also, the purpose of the anime is to promote the newest series. Going back and using old Pokemon is... Pointless. And i actually like the new anime now, although you are entirely entitled to your own opinion. You don't have to like it, but, to answer your question, no. I don't agree, nor would it really make any sense. Just re-watch the old anime and play the old games. That's why you were able to buy the games and the anime series. :)

But yeah, no. I don't think so. :/

Season 9 was the Battle Frontier arc.

Just correcting you there.

More than half of the people who attack the newer seasons probably haven't even watched the newer seasons.

I saw the new series. 1st eposde ended, I walked to my window, and thought of breaking it with my head. And dont get me started on pokemon contests! DP was basicly get Dawn to her next contest, and stop at a gym or two along the way. Dont get me wrong. The Sceptile Blasekin battle at the end of...one of the Hoenn series (forgot which) was intense. Also battle frontier gave us a chance to see the new favorites fighting alongside the classics can't remember if Hrracross was there. If not major disapointment) Also when I say "like 12 seasons" I was talking loosly. I didn't even know that Orange Islands had a series. I also admit that DP had decent pokémon. But now we have a Yorkshire Terrior fighting a Chandelier. This is an insult to my very childhood. BTW I do like non-squeaker Ash. I just think he is dead to me....

*Also can anyone tell me if a 3DS works with RCN's wifi*

Dude. It's a show. It's a game. It's not the end of the world that the anime went a bit south during the Hoenn region. It's also not the end of the world that there's a fifth generation and that's coming from a girl who didn't like them at first.
I've been playing since I was four or five and I love the series but not to where I go on a rant about how I want things in the anime/game that will never happen.

Just calm down dude, it's just a game....

Confirmation

Just saying that they took my childhood, beat it in the corner, then shot it exevution style. Why must you all feel the need to defend that? Seriosly what can they possibly do now? "Hey lets have become a coordinator then end the series with a friendship speech that an immortal 10 year old can think of!" No, just no. Why not make a Mystery Dungeon series instead of 2 episodes from different generations? Also I warned you all (1st post)

Ok, I cant be the only one to think the show died after Battle Frontier.

Yet it's still going with a ton of people still liking it...your personal opinion isn't a fact.

All I'm saying is to make a new show. Still pokémon but with Ash as an old wise man of some sort.

...I don't like the sound of that personally. This show is suppose to appeal to little kids, as that's the target audience, I'm not a little kid anymore but I'm fairly certain I was never really interested in old wise people on TV, I was more interested in others little kids who make mistakes so I could laugh at them.

I mean they are so desperate as to make a chandelier a pokémon.

What does Chandelure have to do with anything...they weren't desperate to use a chandelier either...what would make you think such a ridiculous thing.

They could recycle the old songs, heck I'd pay to see the 1st movie in theaters again, just don't continue the madness.

So you basically just want to re-watch everything up to Battle Frontier then...I'm sure you can do that without complaining about the current show not being to your liking...

Whats next? A car pokémon? Or a bucket maybe?

I hope so, those sound awesome.

Any thoughts?

I think you're just hating on the things you don't like, trying to pass your opinion off as facts. You don't like the current generation, that's fine, not everyone does like it, but there are people who do...a lot of people actually. They wont stop, and they shouldn't stop doing what they are doing just because some people don't like it anymore, they don't care about losing some audience, they gain it back and probably more anyways so they have no care about the loss of people who have lost interest, it's not like they expect every person to like the entire franchise from start to finish.

I'm sure you could have maid a suggestion about a new main character without hating on the things you don't like about the show so obnoxiously. You have to realize, the Anime is for more then just you, they aren't trying to please you only, they want to please a large enough audience that would give them money, and they have done just that so far and will continue to do that. If you don't like how Pokemon is now, don't watch the show, or play the games.

Hopeful for Gen 8
This thread made me disappointing. I was hoping it was talking about if fans think the BW 2 kids could appear. Instead its some stupid nooby question. Anyway I'll answer. No the serious only gets better over time. Don't like it don't watch

As was May's journey....

Dont get me wrong. The Sceptile Blazekin battle at the end of...one of the Hoenn series (forgot which) was intense.
There's plenty of intense in the newer series. Just watch Ash vs Paul, or Ash vs Conway, or Ash vs Tobias, the list could go on for a long time.

So? The Sinnoh League gave us the same thing.

But now we have a Yorkshire Terrior fighting a Chandelier. This is an insult to my very childhood.
But back in Kanto we had purple sludge fighting a plant, so what's the difference?

A few things to note here:

1 - The anime has no effect on the design of the Pokemon, it is simply an add on to the games.
2 - Your really bashing DP and BW and don't even realise it, a lot of people do still enjoy the show just as much as they did in the OS, and a lot of people think the characters are fine and don't need changing. One of those people is me.
3 - You really seem to want the old Pokemon back don't you? They still exist you know, heck DP featured them just as heavily as the Sinnoh Pokemon.
4 - You say Ash won the battle frontier as if it made all of these years watching him train worthwhile, most of the fandom want him to win the league and won't settle for anything more. And even so just because he's won the battlefrontier shouldn't mean he has to leave the show, or if he ever won the league. He's a great character portraying the show and should stay until the anime finishes in my opinion.

What was the question again?
I don't believe there will be one anytime soon. Unless you're talking about Ash being replaced after all of this is over. But then that's a story for another thread.

CyberCubed

Yeah, ok!
Why is this guy acting like the anime has anything to do with the new Pokemon designs?

The new pokemon are designed by GameFreak, the anime has nothing to do with that.

The show died after Battle Frontier? In my opinion it died before AG and after DP. However, with the other stuff you said, I don't understand.

Guess who's back
I don't really agree on ditching Ash and maybe following a new character instead but it'd be cool to see a series following someone else (alongside the normal pokemon schedule) But tbh if it was gonna happen i think it would of already.
