So apparently, Steven gives your starter's Mega Stone after the Devon Scope event at Route 120.

Aw well, I guess there won't be a Mega Milotic *deep sighs of disappointment*

Also, I really don't understand you people who are hostile and being real ... idek towards those who wish for a Mega Flygon and Mega Milotic. I'm sure you've wished for a certain Mega before and your wish probably came true with the Megas we know of at the moment. I don't know, i've seen way too many "rude" people going "Yay haha no mega flygon/mega milotic, sux for u nub" like really? Way to be that guy. Really. Pathetic. Goodluck in your journey in ORAS and hope a Gyarados don't just suddenly pop out of nowhere and devours your entire team. :")

Well I'm glad that the Pokebank update thing has basically confirmed that there aren't any more new OR/AS Megas. Also, I was hoping that we'd get our Starter's Mega Stone a bit earlier; I usually fully-evolved my Hoenn Starter around the time that I had four badges in R/S/E, and I wanted to use Mega Swampert against Norman in OR/AS. Alas.

Because literally before X/Y their business model was.

>Buy two systems and every game ever or you can't get all the Pokemon you like

>Trade with friggin everyone you can rabidly.

>Oh you sold or gave a way your game? You're boned, now Pokebank exists and you can get a crap ton of utterly vital moves from tutors from there.

They've JUST started being nice and introducing previously unobtainable Pokemon for players like me who don't usually keep all their Pokemon games.

Mega stones are items
You can't trade the ORAS stones but there was no reason to believe they would rip out the xy mega stones from the data
that would make ORAS completely incompatible with XY.

Also, not having Steelixite makes even less sense because its still an ORAS mega. Leaving it out of the localized versions means you couldn't go up against Japan's mega steelix users

Well judging by the levels you probably won't have your starter fully evolved until around that point anyway, so I think the Devon Scope event is a good time to give it to you. Unless you overlevel of course, but that doesn't really count.

So you could potentially have a team with Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Mega Rayquaza, and a second Mega to be named later?

You can only use one Mega per battle, but you can use one Mega alongside one Primal. That's all I know so far.

But... it's impossible to not have a fully evolved starter by then. I mean...even before the 5th or 4th gym it's possible for your starter to fully evolve, and that doesn't include overleveling. Tried it myself in the originals.

I'm assuming this person thinks that the data of the stones being in ORAS is an indication that the stones themselves can be obtained through gameplay of ORAS. I haven't kept up enough with the leaks to know if that's true or not but we should let this person know one way or the other because they seem to have their hopes up about it.

May I ask why you don't want any more megas? Not being rude, but I don't understand why you among many others don't want any more? What's the harm of having more? You can only have 1 anyway, and that one mega is technically your "ace" pokemon, well for me anyways.

Idk, i guess i'm tired of seeing people get "Excited" or "happy" about no more megas, which i find puzzling.

Wait? How does the Pokebank update confirm no more new megas exactly. What did I miss?

I'm mostly just bored with the theories and debates about whether or not Pokemon like Flygon/Milotic/etc. will have Megas in OR/AS, so it's good to basically have confirmation that there aren't any more new Mega Evolutions in these games.

Someone datamined PokeBank's update and found the item logs. All of the mega stones are listed (since the game has to be able to identify them to remove them from any Pokemon you put into the Bank). There weren't any stones we didn't already know about.

Same here, I don't hate the Pokemon, I consider them fine and I use defoe flygon regularly, but the random fans made me hate it...It's like MLP:FiM S2 all over again. So the confirmation that it is not happening is a good end to most of their rants.

Ah I see, that's a fair enough reason. At least you have a reason unlike some people I encountered and just mindlessly jumping on the "yaynomoarmegascausethereshouldn'tbeanymore" bandwagon without any valid explanations to support their arguement. Those people really tick me off. Lol.

GF gives us a hand and we want the whole arm. I'm disappointed that there seemingly aren't any more Megas. I suppose the concept is still new enough that we shouldn't necessarily have an expectation of 20 or so every time there is a new game. But I will say the lack some popular Megas, and other counterpart Megas, i.e. Butterfree, with the apparent lack of some Gen III features is making the game feel overall rushed.

My guess is that it's because there is a next game next year for the 20th anniversary and they don't want to double up. But that's way out speculation so I'll just stop there.

In any event, the Megas revealed so far are pretty nice, very confused by Audino and Slowbro, but whatever. M-Beedrill is still my favorite. Can't wait to put him on my Bug Team.

It's okay my friend. We understand you want them to exist but they simply don't.

We can get through this rough time together my dear friend.

Really dude? Props to you for being correct about the mega situation, but don't brag like you're the only one who made this claim.

I'm satisfied with the megas we have, I honestly think that OR/AS had the better batch of megas, but that's just my opinion. I guess it's just because I like most of the pokes who received a mega. Milotic is my favourite regular poke but he/she always has a chance in the future.

so, do we know yet when the Mega Bangle is obtained

Exp. Share is a lost cause, but that's pretty game-breaking in and of itself

Hmm, i wonder if the Meteorite will Mega Evolve Rayquaza.

Actually.

That's a decent hypothesis there, I don't know if they ever tested the Meteorite with Rayquaza to see if it did anything. At the same time though, if we still return it to Professor Cozmo or if it's a key item I don't know about that. That's definitely still something to keep in mind though, I think.

Probably immediately after the 5th gym. Still need confirmation though.

And what's with the hate of Exp Share nowadays? If you want the game to be a challenge for you, just leave it turned off. Simple.
Just because they give it to you so early, doesn't mean you HAVE to use it from then on. Personally, I like they kept it like X/Y's, since I was finally able to train 6 Pokémon at the same time and have, for the first time ever in a Pokémon game, a fully trained team by the league and in the post-game.
